i'm missing something, i installed Safetrap in the JellyBean leak and then followed the steps to get stock in the Stock ROM slot but when i Activate the ROM Slot-1 and then select Restore the backup i made is not available it is only available from Stock ROM. What am i missing?

This is the bug I'm fixing right now.

The internal "sdcard" area is changing with the data partition (since its /data/media).

As was mentioned, a temp fix is to backup to the external.

Mostly, I'm blind troubleshooting and then working with testers to see if the /data/media issues are fixed. It's just trial and error. So it takes time.

Hi everyone. first I wanted to say thank you especially to hashcode for this! i'm pretty new to this whole thing so forgive me for my ignorance...but i have a question.

when i go into my phones storage via settings, if i scroll down i see lots of USB disks. i'm not sure if they're always there or not, but i have a feeling it may be because i created and deleted my virtual rom a couple times while trying to set it up. could this be the case? and if so...is there a way to get rid of these?

Anyone have this problem....I am unable to create new rom slots. When it is working it says "error creating data partition" in the terminal area. Worked fine for me last time. I can flash and have no other issues, but trying to create the 2nd slot is proving very difficult. Any suggestions?

I had this happen to me a couple of times when I had one of the virtual slots active. The trick for me was to activate the stock slot, then reboot back into Safestrap, then create the new slot and activate it. Definitely a bug though.

Quick question. This is my first time using SS since I am coming from a Nexus -> GS3 -> Maxx HD (long story, lots of $$$ ). Not new to flashing ROMs, but just using SS in general. I made a back up of my stock ROM, then partitioned ROM slot 1 and loaded up the Vitrious 1.2 ROM and GApps. Everything seemed to work fine, but when I went to reboot, I got stuck in a loop for booting up. I get the SS splash screen (indicating a ROM is active, not stock), but it keeps looping back to that screen when I select continue or wait the 10 seconds. If I hit recovery, the phone basically goes black and becomes unresponsive; I need to do a hard reset, not hit continue/wait and boot into recovery in order to switch back to stock. I've read through the forum and I don't see anything that necessarily touches on this, since I'm unable to even boot into the ROM. (Side note: my stock is the leaked JB build.)

Thanks in advance if anyone has any tips.

Very stable for me no complaints except if. You like smart actions or the droid notification sound its not for you.

This has 1 BUG really in the recovery and that's how the handling of /sdcard changes if you activate a rom-slot. Make your backups to the ext-sd and you'll be able to restore them to rom-slots.

And this should boot them up correctly with the /sdcard showing the right files.

I'll do another bugfix version once I fix the internal sdcard handling inside recovery.

REPORT: Let me know if this fixes the stock ROM paid apps issue.
