Howdy -
This is with the Razr M XT907, but I'm posting here as it's related to the app. Apologies if I broke any rules, and I'll forward it over appropriately if needed.
Running a Razr M XT907, stock rom, just rooted with Dan Rosenberg's . Just installed Safestrap - I tried 3.11 and the phone wouldn't shut down, kept automatically rebooting without going into Safestrap. Installed 3.12 and it went through fine, however booting into recovery the version number is still listed as 3.11. I've uninstalled the app several times and wiped caches with no change. It apprears to be functioning ok, so I don't suppose its an issue?

Why would that be? Safestrap is for phones and users without or don't want to unlock.

Has anyone tried a full device encryption with a locked boot loader and Safestrap? I want to try to put a less bloated factory Rom on my phone, but need encryption for work. I'm hoping someone else has tried this. Thanks.

Is there any possibility of porting kexec to the razr HD/m series? Sorry for the question. I've used it many times on my old droid 4. Thanks and have a nice day
I don't know if you'll ever see that happen since you can unlock the boot loader (well as long as you didn't apply the latest ota before unlocking).
Because of that reason, most devs are only developing roms for unlocked boot loaders. I just got my maxx hd this week as a replacement and luckily I was able to unlock my boot loader.
kexec was nice on my og RAZR maxx but I just don't know if any devs are working on it for the hds since most can have the boot loader unlocked.

When I click on the link I get this on the page for the download.
"The file you requested was not found Lets see if we can find that for you... Search results for devs/Hashcode/vanquish/RAZR-HD-Safestrap-3.12.apk&nocollapse=true"
Is there somewhere else I can get this apk.?

I am going to place this one right HERE....
If a Administrator wants to add this link to the OP for one who want it, need it, or whatever.
Looks like Hashcode deleted it off the server or they are having issues on goo.

I am running The Motorola Razr HD XT926. I currently have it rooted and have tried so many versions of safestrap and none yet to work. Ive tried using rsd lite and rerooting and using safestrap. Still no success. I have yet to find one that works on mine. All have been uninstalled prior to reinstalling different versions of safestrap. My system version is 183.46.15.xt926.Verizon.enUS. Kernel 3.4.42-g3841824 July 29. Im hoping someone could help me get this working

The posts you were reading is with in a day or two of two years old. There is as you know rooting for the 926 but with the version of firmware you are running there is no unlocking the bootloader. You may have already looked here:
