Anyhow kinda reminds me of the old Nextel days, curious to know if anyone is really interested in this.

I'm not going to pay for it. I use tikl and it works better than Verizon's push to talk service.

You should try TiKl apk. Its in the google play store and works just like the old Nextel radios did. I wish that they would have made push to talk available through all networks. I much rather use the radio than text. Give it a try. Its good stuff.
