While I did not encounter any root or sbf issue, I can regain root, can go back to ICS all day long. However, I have a different kind of problem. I lost IMEI, ESN, ICCID... they all show "unknown". Consequently, mobile network state shows "Disconnected". After a reboot, I will get 4G like normal for about 10 seconds. It acts as if the sim card isn't there, or that Verizon is blocking me. I've used Matt's Utility to go back to ICS, and everything works again. I've done this 3 times already, with same result.

Edit: I just took the sim out and put in my Maxx (not Maxx HD) and could get 4G service just fine.

I don't know if this will help, but there is a post on XDA about how to recover your IMEI

Thanks to DroidRzr.com, houch80,chrisc2u, and NattyBee I am on Jelly Bean with NO problems. I love it on my Nexus 7 and so far it is awesome on my phone........s*$t now I have the rooting bug again. I think since I use my phone for business daily I will stick with the OTA leaks vs any custom Roms.

Thanks all,

Jamie

Glad you are up and running Jamie. Special thanks to DirtyDroidX for providing us with this wonderful leak! :)

So there seems to be some issues with this. Is it worth the plunge?

I have not had any issues with this leak at all. Follow the upgrading instructions, root, update SU and binaries and then update to JB leak and you will be good to go. As NattyBee said, you can always flash back.

Did all the instructions - no issues at all. Decided to flash back as Llama stopped working properly and I didn't really see any better perf improvement. Guess I'll wait for the "official". In the meantime, I'll freeze and optimize.

What I'm really waiting for is SS3.XX and some ROMs. But, I'm patient and the HD is so beef anyhow, not too much of an issue.

Great tools / instuctions and support as always. Thanks all.

Anyone run in to the issue of Foxfi not working after installing the leak? It fails and tells me to use Bluetooth Dun, and then that fails too!

Looks like Foxfi Dev may need to make some changes in JB

Perhaps - that's what I found with Llama, and a few other, "huh????"'s. So, dropped back.

Pretty cool we can do that, huh!!!!

Ya, it's nice, I remember getting stuck on OG Razr Maxx. Couldn't go anywhere until someone came up with a way to move.

I've been running this for a few days now & everything seems to be working. I like all the new features in the bedside dock mode, especially that you can now choose your music app, but they took away the option for wallpaper.

Tasked & my elixar notification Widgets no longer stay at the top if certain notifications are present, only issue with this is if I'm using elixar for toggles which I'm currently doing.

Another thing is chrome is talking & I can't figured how to turn it off.Edit:found that advanced web accessibility was enabled.Oh another nice change is notification sound go out via BT while streaming instead of speaker.

Installed the leak the day it came out, went groovy etc etc etc. Now I want to go back and just get back on the official firmware.

I can NOT for the life of me flash back.

What I have tried:
RSD 5.7 & RSD 6.1.4 (rebooting after each install etc...)
Re-install the drivers from the Motorola Mobility website.
REBOOT THREE FREAKING TIMES
Taking my SIM/SD cards out
Different combos of connecting phone to computer and opening RSD
Changing the freaking levels of UAC on Windows...

My error: "Failed flashing process. Unknown fastboot command. (getvar)"

I don't get what I'm missing... I'm not new to this, but I feel like I am now lol

Help???

an external partition, generally another storage device such as an SD Card, however, since the hardware only supports one SD Card the SD card is probably labeled as external_0 or external_1. The extras are probably there just because its not a final build yet.

Matts utility worked withouta hitch. still want RSD to work though lol just OCD like that.
