Now there's a 2.8.4.1 IMG. I need to figure out how to make it a zip because I'm stuck bootlooping with cm recovery.

Well.... Flashing a different recovery might help, but I think it would be wiser to flash the flashback.zip that is desighned for your device. Only two devices are supported xt926 and xt907. That will reset the bootup and clear your bootloop issues...

Well if he wanted a flashable zip to get him out of his recovery bootloop the flashback would be his best option. He can always unzip it and replace the recovery.img with the latest updated one. He will have to rename whatever dhacker named it to "recovery.img" so the updater will recognize it.

I am sure tou flashed the right one. The .1 isnt a official twrp version .0 is. One would have to modify the files in twrp and keep up merges with OmniRom and that isnt going to happen just to show the .1 in the version...

that's what i assumed but i hate assuming ..... i automatically rename recovery images "recovery.img" just to make the fastboot command simpler so i couldn't be  sure if it was the wrong file... thanks for all your work   :lol

Now I'm working on getting past device not found and all the rest of the awesome fun stuff involved with adb/fastboot. Thanks Nobe. Y'all devs deserve some good kudos for being patient with blind old farts like me. This old dog is gonna learn him some new tricks by golly!

Your experience may vary but the 2.8.3.0 does not work on my Razr Maxx HD.  The screen becomes unresponsive and I've got to manually flash back to a known working version (2.6.3.0 IIRC).  I am tinkering with getting a ROM and recovery together that I like.

2.8.4.1 works fine on my HD with maxx battery mod. The mod was easy by the way. I used flashify to flash 2.8.4.1. And sometimes it has gone black, but I just boot into recovery with vol. +- and per.

You can fix the black screen by turning off the screen saver miode in settings when you get into twrp.

Nobe's 2.8.3.0 works great. Neither of dhacker's newer versions work for me. When I flash them and try to boot to recovery my phone goes to fastboot and says boot failure.

TWRP 2.8.0.0

For xt926 4.4.2 & Unlocked Bootloaders only

Also Unified MSM8960 for 4.1.2 Bootloader Devices

What's new in 2.8.0.0:
  • Fix a bug that caused weird graphics and touch issues
  • Add MTP support to recovery thanks mostly to bigbiff with a little help from Dees_Troy
  • Add command line capabilities - you can now execute various TWRP features via adb instead of the touchscreen
  • Add support for color in the console and give error, warning, and highlight lines different colors
  • Track backup and restore progress based on file sizes to provide a much more accurate indication of progress
  • Improve handling of /misc thanks to mdmower
  • Improve setting of time on Qualcomm devices thanks to [NUT]
  • Allow using images on slidervalue GUI objects thanks to Tassadar
  • Allow using variables and addition and subtraction in variables for easier theming
  • Add support for 1440x2560, 280x280, and 320x320 resolutions and update 240x240
  • Allow ui.xml file to include additional xml files to help break up the theme and make TWRP easier to maintain
  • Other minor fixes and improvements

TWRP 2.7.1.0 with Screenshot feature...

For xt926 4.4.2 Unlocked Bootloaders only

This will allow much faster trouble shooting while installing or coaching on how to install something. The mighty Developers updated the Source all I did was build it in with my ROM build. Tested and well see Screenshots below..

The only thing that I noticed different is the screenshot feature.

All other functions work normal.

To take these screenshots while in recovery mode is

the same way you take them on Stock.

Key combo Power + volume down.

It will place all Screenshots taken in your Picture/Screenshot

folder. If you have a external storage installed it will place them there

instead of internal.
