Nothing But Issues With This Phone After Rooting/unlocking

I rooted and unlocked my new s3 and experienced random freezes, reboots, and the screen freaking out in general.
When the black model came out, I promplty used odin to go back to stock, and exchanged my white for a black one.
I rooted and unlocked my black one and are experiencing the same problems.
I'm beginning to think either it's my computer or the EZ Unlock tool from the play store that's causing my problems.
I've ran blackbean, Liquid, Stock AOKP, and Eclipse on both phones. Experienced the problems above on all ROMs.
What do you guys think my problem is? I'm going back to stock right now and using the command prompt method to unlock my BL this time.

if you're still having issues, go into recovery, select Advanced, and select fix permissions. that might help.

I just went in to fix permissions and was greeted with the "phone is activating" screen. Had to lose out of it but so far so good.

"quote from Samsung Unlock"
Cell Phone / Mobile unlocking is the process of removing the lock which prevents the device from accepting and being able to use a SIM card from a rival GSM network. Network providers place such locks on handsets to prevent the easy migration from one network to another. We provide unlock solutions which help our customer to remove these locks by inputting simple codes in to the handset with specialist instructions that allow access to special unlock menu's on the handset.

The only issues I have had is messing around with some tweaks that I didn't know how to use.
