The error messages seem to come at random times when I am using my phone. They show up on boot and I just hit o.k. and then everything works fine until the next time I get an error message. Very frustrating.

To be honest.. that happens on stock too...and it's happened on Icarus..It's just a random hiccup and I doubt it's nitros fault. The main 2 ROMs that I have ever considered "Dailys" have been Icarus and Eclipse.. I just prefer blur.

Which points to the kernel. And we can't fix that

I don't think it's nitro's fault either. Doesn't seem to effect the functionality of the phone, it's just annoying. Didn't happen when running stock ROM.

Hey I've found some bugs regarding web top/lapdock modes. I'm not sure if many have a lapdock to test with, but I took screenshots in case they help.

The second screen is of system ui crashing, not sure what exactly is causing this, it seems to happen every time I disconnect from the lapdock, and keeps popping up till I reboot.

I have a lapdock and didn't see these issues when I was on that Rom.. Does it happen only with the bible app?

Have removed adw and tried with the included holo launcher, and go launcher. These issues were not present on stock rom or eclipse 1.2.
I haven't tried removing the bible app for the sys ui crash, but the market/play store colors are present on a fresh/clean eclipse 1.3 before installing the bible app from market.

I can post screenshots from a clean install tonight after I play with it a bit. The sys ui crash doesn't seem to happen every time after undock though. Can only think of Netflix running being the only common denominator for that issue..

:o how

You can charge your phone and use it for a while and it will look like this. The battery life won't reset unless you change to 100%. On my post, at that time, I thought I was special. Saw same thing couple days later after I charged it for a little bit, it was 75% for about 12 hours.

Today I decided that I liked this ROM well enough to keep as the only ROM. So downloaded Bootstrap and did the SS to BS switch. All went well, but when I was in SS Eclipse had no bloatware. When I switched, I did all the updates that popped up while I was in stock ROM. Uninstall SS. Installed BS, BS recovery, wiped, blah, blah. Am on Eclipse under BS and now Eclipse has all the bloatware Stock ROM has. When looking around the files in my ext-sdcard, found that I had a BS 2.x, while the one I downloaded today was 1.1.x So I went into BS wiped, blah, blah, so I could restore Stock ROM and uninstall BS1 and install BS2. Well, as soon as I wiped factory, cache, dalvik, system, I accidentally hit...REBOOT!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, "are you sure you want to reboot option" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Am at work, no phone.

The other thing is that I thought I had this flashing ROMs thing down so I don't even have windows in my computer anymore. I switched to Linux. At the moment I gave in and am trying Ubunty 12.04LTS. Haven't found anyware an easy way to RSD or FXZ or anything in Linux.

Of course, I tried to install Eclise in stock recovery and it did say "no u didn't"

Don't know why I didn't keep a copy of stock ROM in my ext-sdcard, but not sure if I could even install it over itself. Yes, am an idiot. Comments, ideas, name calling are all welcome. :(

Fxz 246 using rsd lite on your computer and you'll be good to go. This is why you should stick with safe strap 3.11. Its much safer than bootstrap.

Since you mentioned you don't have windows installed on your PC, you might want to get a copy of the House of Bionic Utility since Samuri has a Linux version out, that has all the utilities you need to FXZ to 246 and root your phone.

here's a link to the Hob:

Thanks, trying this. Seems to work, except phone battery is now dead. Plugged to wall charger, doesn't seem to charge or should I wait a while?

I don't belive the phone will charge without an operating system installed, you may have to find a wall charger, someone with another battery (or who has a Bionic and will charge your) or throw yourself at the mercy of a VZW store and see if they will charge one for you.

You need a factory cable or a factory adapter to write to the phone with a dead battery. The phone in its current state doesn't have the software to know how to charge. A factory cable powers the phone via USB Bypassing the battery

Using the factory cable would give me an error everytime, but I used my wife's battery when I got home from work last night (I go to work when she's at work) HOB worked like a charm, thanks guys for your replies. Now am very skeptical to even root again.

I think he means the Team Black Hat factory cable or adapter. If you own a moto phone, you should have one of these. The adapter is $10.00.
