Does anyone have a suggestion for a the best governor and scheduler for battery life for this rom? I would love to hear from the community. :D

I've been getting good results with pegasusq and sio. Pretty light use.

Did you add something to get the pegasusq and sio scheduler? I don't see those options. I am using 1.0 though.

Yep, I followed eye_dea's instructions

. I'm sure it would work the same on 1.0, but why not upgrade to 1.2.1? Nitro added a lot of cool stuff.

Thanks!

I am going to upgrade to 1.2.1. I kinda like the JB Camera/Gallery. It does have its issues, but I like them. I am sure I can add them back though with 1.2.1. I understand why he removed them in 1.2.1 though because they are definitely more reliable.

Voyeur, I know he inverted Google Now in 1.2.1, but does it still require an install like I had to do with Eclipse 1.0? Or is Google Now included automatically in 1.2.1?

It's included! It's a little buggy for me, but that may be because I dirty flashed 1.2.1 over 1.2. I haven't seen anyone else complain about it.

I don't know why this is the case, but I am getting terrible battery on this rom. I used to get great battery on Eclipse before (Back on Gingerbread). Android OS is always utilizing the most of my battery. I have wifi on and a screen time of 44 minutes and I only have 44% battery left. Andoid OS is utilizing the most with 55% and screen is next with 15%. I don't remember Android OS ever utilizing this much battery on previous roms. I recently got LTE in my area and am using LTE when not on wifi. I know LTE is more power hungry, but I am seeing people getting 20+ hours out of use on their phone. Is this with 3G? I definitely received that great of battery on previous roms when I was only using 3G.

Anyone else getting high Android OS utilization in their battery settings?

A number of people are having that same issue. Something is keeping your phone from sleeping when the screen is off. If you browse through the 1.2.1 thread on the eclipse forums I believe someone may have posted a fix for this.

Edit: It also wouldn't hurt to try resetting your battery stats!

I did try resetting battery stats multiple times. Doesn't work unfortunately.

Also, the fix you are seeing on eclipse forums is for someone who had very little space available for his internal sd card for some unknown reason.

voyeur, you are getting GREAT battery as shown in your images above. Do you shut off data when using wifi? Are you using 3G or LTE?

Hmm, strange. Maybe try a task manager out to see if you can find what app is keeping your phone awake. If I happen across a fix for this I'll be sure to share it.

I do shut off data when I'm on wifi and I really only use 4g to stream music or video. I don't think I'm doing anything fancy, the screenshots were after a day of considerably light use. I think pegasusq helps a lot by disabling one of your cores when the phone idles.

Is there a faster way to toggle between 3G/4G than dialing *#*#4636#*#* or whatever in the dialer? I would like to shut off data during wifi, but unfortunately you can't send MMS when on wifi which is weird. Would be a pain to toggle it on/off every time I receive MMS.

I think I will stick with 3G and then switch to 4G when I am doing something data intensive like you mentioned.

Thanks for the response Voyeur

Hah, you know I've been wondering why my MMS has been spotty lately. I didn't realize it doesn't work when data is off.

Here is my battery after almost 5 hours. Screen time is only 18 minutes.

I don't understand what is causing this.

Damn, that's bad. I'd start a thread and see if you can get some more helpful attention since this has been going for days with no luck. I'd be pissed!
