I don't have a crystal ball and yes. Will there be a Jellybean root in the future, and if it does become available will you add the JB file to your utility too?

This looks like one of the errors we were seeing in the linux utility....(on 32 bit systems) if it is the same thing, then it may be because it needs the "updated"
AdbWinApi.dll and fastboot.exe files.... you can get them here copy and paste into the utility folder..... to be safe, you may want to copy and paste the originals from the folder to somewhere else.....

Hello, I need to unroot my 4.0.4 gingerbread droid razr. But I saw someone say that when they unrooted their razr.. that they werent able to get software updates anymore. Is this true? will I be able to update? if no, then is there anyway i can get system updates while im rooted?
4.0.4 is ICS.... so i guess my first question has to be.... are you on ICS or GB..... .... either way, you can un-root if you need to... also, unless you have changed a bunch of "stuff" (systwm apps, bloatware, etc) you can use voodoo's OTA rootkeeper app to preserve root through an OTA update...
There it also the option of using matts utility to go back to stock... then take an ota update.... the re-root etc, etc....

I'm on ver 4.0.4 sys ver 0.7.2.XT926. Updated drivers in windows runing xp pro 64 bit. I've downloaded and opened Droid_Razr_HD_Utility and executed and ran bat file. when it says to make sure you are in AP fastboot mode adn connectred thru usb- I cannot seem to get my device to boot into AP fastboot. I have usb debugging enabled. I power phone down, (have tried it connected to usb and unconected.) I press power and up volume and get a utility window with the 3rd option being AP fastboot. I move the cursor down to highlight this and press power button. It just boots normally, Not into fastboot. What am I doing wrong?
when you scroll down to ap fastboot mode.... instead of hitting power.... hit volume up

So should I be connected via usb when I power down and try to enter fastboot? or connect to usb after entering fastboot?
Either way is fine... I usually get into fastboot then plug in..... Less chance of pulling on the usb cable and putting undue stress on the connections....

First option ran- took about 3-4 mins. It then wiped data and rebooted normally to the setup portion of rom setup. I powered down - back into fastboot and ran bat file again- chose option2, enter, it just hangs saying "waiting for device". Phone displays it is usb connected. I've tried the utility with old fastboot and AdbWinApi.dll files and new ones.
Option 2 (rooting) is not done in ap fastboot mode..... Boot your phone normally.... Change usb mode to mtp (not mass storage) run option 2 again
