That looks like the error weve been seeing with the linux version...I am a complete noob, but I think i bricked my Razr Maxx HD. After running option #1, it only boots in AP Fastbook Flash Mode & gives me the message "Fastboot Reason: Flash Failure." When i manually select "Normal Powerup," i get the message "No valid PIV block in SP for system, piv validation failed (system), Fasboot reason: Boot Failure."
What did i do wrong? How can i fix?
Thanks for your time.
Try copying these files into the "files" folder and run option 1 again... it is the updated fastboot files for windows.... hopefully it will work for you....

Nice.... glad you got it ....Thanks for your reply. Turns out my USB ports or USB cable is bad. Another computer did the trick. I successfully restored & rooted the device about ten minutes ago.

Did you extract the zip file to your desktop? And are you running the .bat file from within the extracted folder?I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I have rooted and rommed a hundred times. I keep getting this error: 'adb is not recognized as an internal or external command. Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong? I have installed everything the way I am supposed to but cannot figure out why this is giving me this error. Is it because I am missing adb? If so where do I get it and install it? Please help!!!

Yeah I did that. I cut and pasted the extracted folders into a different folder before I ran it. Do you think that might be the issue?

Yes...... i think that probably is the issue.... all the files/folders must be together in the same place for the utility to run properly.... if the .bat file cant "see" the adb files.... it will continue to return the same error "adb is not recognized..... "Yeah I did that. I cut and pasted the extracted folders into a different folder before I ran it. Do you think that might be the issue?
