Cant understand why it just sits on < waiting for device >. I just ran something using ADB and it worked fine. Now trying to run this utility, it cant seem to find my device. USB debugging is on, Moto drivers installed...

UPDATE: Havent fixed it, but when i do adb devices, I get the following output:

TA261022UN device

when I do fastboot devices, i dont get anything.

What am I missing??

I'm still needing an answer. After using this tool restore back to stock the software update option in settings is greyed out. Is there a way to update so that i can try the Jelly Bean leak? Does anyone have the update available for me to download?

May seem like a silly question but is your phone in AP Fastboot mode or in regular mode.....

Try a factory reset from the settings menu. Sorry I lost you other thread and wasn't able to answer there...

Assuming of course you have it in Fastboot mode as suggested above

Not a silly question....I was not in AP Fastboot mode.....

Hey there. Whenever I try to run the utility (Phone is in fastboot mode and i have run the bat file with administrator properties), i get the error message that "fastboot" and "adb" are not recognized internal or external commands. Any ideas?

Dif you extract the utility yo your desktop? Are you running the. Bat file within the folder you extracted the utility to? You shouldn't need to run as administrator for it to work....

Yup! Extracted the file and ran the bat with and without admin rights. It's strange because when I don't run it with admin rights, it just says "Waiting for device" but when I do run it with admin rights, I get the error described above

another thing to note is that when i double click fastboot alone, it closes immedietly

Fastboot wont run by itself... it needs something to tell it what to do..... do you have the latest motorola drivers installed....

i keep getting an error saying it could not load system.img.ext4 or something like that. process skips and continues on but when it reboots, its the same, debloated, stock rom i had before. i am in ap fastboot ,drivers current, ive used previous utilities before with my razr and never had a problem. ideas? suggestions?

Try replacing the fastboot.exe with the updated one frim here

I'm going to be moving to the RAZR M for it's smaller form factor, do you guys think an M utility will happen for Linux? (Hint: please say yes! )
