Having problems fastbooting with Matt's utility, keep getting adb is not recognized as internal or external command operable program or batch file. Have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and still get same issue, how can I fix this.
Have you unzipped the utility to your desktop?..... and running the .bat file from within the unzipped utility folder?.... then reboot both phone and computer then try again....

1.... which utility are you actually using? Should be Matt's 1.82 utility .....Well using the utility the same way I did to root gb and ice which is to open utility input proper number and hit inter. I thought the.bat files were the ones used when the utility didn't open. And I am using factory cable. Still no luck.
2.... typically the only reason that you will get the adb error is when the .bat file can't "see" the adb files that are included in the utility.... usually caused by not unzipping the file to desktop.... or trying to run the file from outside the utility file... or trying to run the file from within the zip.....
3.... (unrelated) I really dig your username..... you truck driver?

Yea I'm a driver. I'm using 1.82 it won't even install voodoo, used utility several times before to root my device and 3 others. Computer see's phone and recognizes adb, just want work with it.
The only other thing I can think right off hand is maybe you have an incomplete utility, maybe try re downloading .... also although its rare, check your antivirus.... it may have deleted some of the files of the utility.....
I'm a driver too...

Will try re downloading and running with out antivirus on , when I get back home tomorrow. Last time I used the utility was 1.80 so this is the first I used 1.82. Thanks for the help.
Youre welcome... anytime..... Just FYI.... when you go to download the 1.82 utility, There is a link close to the end of the 1.82 thread that has the updated su binaries and superuser.apk
.. so you won't need to worry about updating those.....

Thanks for answering their questions, im not on here as much as i'd like to be due to no computer. lmao. but yes I recommend the try it before you buy it. I like Jellybean it's been flawless for me, and installation is simple and I had no reason to go back to be honest so i made the jump the second it was out and I have zero complaints. butif you screw up root your doomed until they crack jellybelly. and also, run PC maintenance if you have to. a fragmented file/folder/full hdd can impact the utility or whatever you're trying to do.You're very welcome again.... I'm glad you got it working ... if you are debating updating to JB... read the dual boot thread.... you can "try it before you buy it" so to speak....
