Someone please help me. I have a Droid Rzr XT912. It will not charge, it will not turn on. There is a ? inside the battery picture. I have tried to reboot with the old "3 finger salute" and nothing happened. Any ideas?

On the droid x, from a few years ago, if the phone was plugged in without a battery, it would show an outline of a battery with a ? inside. It sounds like your phone is having battery issues. The battery may be going bad. Were you trying to flash a rom, or modifying it and accidentally delete something? Try turning the phone off and leave it plugged in and see if it will charge for a few hours.

If you've dropped it, it may be that the battery connector had come loose as well.

I had to get a TBH adapter to jumpstart mine when it did that years ago.....I also replaced the battery....

Thanks for the help!! I didnt drop it. Its an odd story, everything is stock, Verizon. I got the phone from a friend who had it flashed it once. I erased and reset the phone back to the start. I played with manual programming a bit, ##program, typed in my mdn, min, got a new sim card from Verizon, changed the LTE settings to 3g test, and changed a few other things I've read in here. I was able to talk and txt, but no data w/o WiFi.  But I never hooked it up to a computer to reflash or root. Infact, I've never flashed or rooted before. I'm trying to learn for my own interest and enjoyment. Trying to teach myself. Untill this happened.

 

Like I said,I never dropped it, I turned it off for about an hour, and when I turned it back on, the phone worked, but had a ? in the battery. The phone eventually died, on the charger too.

I did let it charge for an hour or so, the phone actually came on for about 2 seconds, then died. I'll let it charge over night and go from there.
