No it's from the maxx. The one from the X is older. And yes, reportedly it's better. I'm trying it on my X as we speak, but, I have a GSM variant so we're about to find out if I still have 4G or not on AT&T. LOL

Nope. And according to the LTE ON OFF app it tells me the cell radio is disabled. And it won't let me turn it on.

Just used your RSD to update my phone to 4.4.4. Sam, thanks, AWESOME buttery smooth update!
I opted to wait a few days to let things shake out and I also wanted to give RASHR a try.. no joy there.

was just wondering. if I wanted, could I download the fxz for the droid maxx 4.4.4, then pull the NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn files and copy to where I have adb installed and then flash using the commands in the thread you linked? when I tried downloading the updated radio, I was having issues with the site. It wouldn't bother me to pull the needed files from the fxz to flash with adb. just wondering if those 2 I mentioned were the only ones I'd need.

how would/could they be flashed? would they be done through rsd, or one of your HOM utilities?
Posted 02 August 2014 - 09:02 AM
All flashing is done in AP Fastboot mode. Therefore you'd flash them with fastboot. However, I suggest far more reading before blindly doing so as you don't want to screw up a perfectly good phone...and flashing the wrong thing to your phone can permanently brick even an unlocked phone.

New FXZ posted on SBF. I updated the link in the OP but be warned the new FXZ contains the erase userdata line.

NOTE: The FXZ I just linked to differs *ONLY* by the XML. The partitions are IDENTICAL. So if you flashed "the old one" it's EXACTLY THE SAME as this "new one".
