I apologize for a seemingly off-topic post, but it seems (relatively) dead enough in here.. My question is about that : are the users here just active elsewhere, or did you guys drop the X for another device? tapa'd on my moto x

There should be a few x users kicking around for sure. I'm running the xt1053 gsm Dev Edition. Doesn't help you in vzw though.

Running an xt1060de, rooted, unlocked and on stock Rom cuz nothing else runs better. Do have exposed and gravity box installed for the few tweaks I wanted.

I'm happily cruising along with my VZW Dev X (unlocked of course) using Eclipse 3.3. This thing has almost cured the flash addiction for me (well I do back slide occasionally but I used the N7 for that).

Probably, but not right away, I'll see what others say about it so I know what to expect even thought it's supposed to be a fairly minor update. I did upgrade the SO's N7 to 4.4.4 but my N7 is still on 4.4.3 since I'm running a custom ROM and have been too busy/lazy to go back to stock, flash 4.4.4. and then reflash the ROM. But, I'll probably do that soon since there are a few ROMs I want to try for the N7 and they are all based off 4.4.4.

That still wouldn't be that bad, look how long we waited for (and how many "unofficial" releases we tried) ICS in the Bionic days.

I disagree. That would be that bad. It's a very minor release and they had 4.4.3 ready to go before they pulled it to do the security updates for 4.4.4. It's just a new kernel. It's literally the same build as the 2013 droids. There is no reason at all for a delay that long. I'm hoping the info is just plain wrong. A lot of people are suggesting today which would be nice.

Yea, well, I have no idea when the thing's gonna get released so I could very well be wrong and you'll all be waiting 2 more weeks for the OTA to soak.  LOL
