Allright, ICS FXZ for Bionic can be found here:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

Secure version has been increased, so no way back to GB and if you have botched your phone with ICS leak on it, then you can use the file to revive the phone. You flash it on your own risk.

AWESOME! hoped this would come out soon! anyone tested this? what are the chances of a brick if I am the tester? should I be able to FXZ back to 905 if there happens to be a problem with this?

No need to test really. Full fxz like we had for 905. Used to recover bricks at times so it shouldn't brick your phone. Do not.. I repeat... Do not try to fxz back to 905 after upgrading to 246. It will brick your phone to where an FXZ won't help.

Once you goto the OTA spec ICS (246), there is ABSOLUTLY NO GOING BACK TO GINGERBREAD!!!!!
From the 235 leak and above, there is no downgrading, and being the OTA is 246, thus later release than 235, there is no going back. ICS is forever.
Atleast till we get some beans....

I am aware of all of that.. ive been on 232 with safestrap and hashcodes CM10 builds for a while.. but was about to completely whipe and go the AOKP route since I use it on my Nexus 7 and like it alot. so I figured I might as well get to 246 while i was at it.. though I guess FXZ wouldnt work if it wasnt all signed by moto anyways.. was just wondering if anyone had used it yet.

EDIT: not that I doubted it but the 246 FXZ works like a champ!

So can I just put this on the ext sd and install it from recovery over the top of 232 (believe that is the last one with GB security) or do I have to go back to 905 to go forward?

Sorry I am on a Razr and my brothers are both on 232 and I don't get many opportunities to mess with the bionic. If I remember right fxz is like fastbooting? And which utility will allow me to fxz them to the new OTA?

Sorry for the newb quesetion.

yes like fastbooting...rsdlite 5.7 with the latest drivers and use a 905 fxz...once on 905 the update should show in about phone/system updates...or you can use the HOB utility located in bionic support!

ekrboi, just making sure before i safestrap, the fxz works? you used it? not that i doubt it, but i know theres not really a way to unsafestrap and undo mods
on this sok/ota. really, i just want to be sure i can flash
back to unmodified ota if i f it up.

how come the file is so much smaller than normal for FXZ's (normally a little over 650mb.. this ones 432mb)? is it just that much higher of compression rate? if so why? and any idea why the webtop img was renamed from grfs.img to vendor.img? and then the only other thing i was curious about is the only file thats missing from this fxz that was in both the 902 and 905 fxz's which is the lbl file? anyways.. if anyone could share some insight it would be much appreciated. and of course THANKS to Pzyduck for sharing the file!

**So ive always held out on adding a donate link because this is just something i do for enjoyment.. but i have received a few requests recently to add one.. so if you enjoy my work and would like to buy me a beer or put some gas in my car, that would be very much appreciated.. but please continue to freely enjoy my mods without any feeling of obligation what-so-ever.. the last thing i want by adding this is for people to stop using my mods because they fell obligated.. Thanks

for those who are still on 232, you can fastboot just the system.img to have a mostly 246 install and still keep the option to go back to gb.

Just curious, why even consider doing this with a 246 FXZ?

i don't know, because you can? :P

only reason i want to keep the ability to go back to gb is so i can cheesecake. if you don't ever plan on cheesecaking, might as well flash the full fxz.

I wish I could Like this post more than once. I'm rather paranoid about my OS installs. I've come to enjoy the benefits and stability of stock-rooted on the Bionic since 5.9.905. I've been running 6.7.230 and have been waiting for a "cleaner" way of getting to the official OTA. An ICS FXZ is a magical thing.

Has anyone tried using this to go from 247 to 246? I would go the HouseOfBionic route but my computer and HOB don't get along.
