Once unlocked one is always unlocked. Using the HOM method and the Universal script is your best bet to insure a flawless flash. You can always FDR with stock recovery afterwards or fastboot a custom recovery after the flash.i have a question im going to flash to kitkat stock with rsd lite, will this lock my bootloader again?

Alright so I got tired of Cyanogenmod and gave this a shot. Wiped data and cache, installed, and everything works except I can't download anything from google play store (says Error 920).
EDIT: Problem just stopped after an hour...weird. Thanks for all the hard work though!

Thanks.
I am looking for a list of stuff that is safe to remove (I am not in US and have not need for all the VZ stuff). This is my dad's phone, btw.
I just updated his phone to the latest .15 update today.
The phone is not rooted, but bootloader is unlocked.
I don't think I can directly use your ROM, since I don't want to sit and re-install all his apps after that.
So, is there a place where I can find what all I can disable/ remove to make it bloat free?

Yes you can should be able to flash the radio.zip without issues...Can the radios be flashed on any ROM? I know my old HTC phones radios were flashable through fastboot independent of the ROM. Just wondering if it's the same case with this phone.
Difference is stock fixes like Bluetooth and WiFi among other small issues.... More then likely the last update this device will see....whats differences btwn .10 and .15?

Seems like this thread is going so well with no stupid questions, but I hate assumptions, and really hate aborting processes in the name of exploration...
(I'm at 183.46.10, rooted and unlocked, got TWRP recovery. I've managed to keep GSM hacked from JB-KK - I'm on AT&T Go.)
Was prepping to RSD 183.46.15 through Samurai's thread when I found yours - this is exactly the ticket; .10 is paining my arse on WiFi, and the Verizon baggage isn't even potentially of use.
A.) Let the .15 OTA (which has downloaded) install, then do this; or do this right from .10?
B.) Is there a benefit to Samuraiing the FXZ and THEN doing this?
I'm part of the problem and I know it... :-O

What is the Stock_183.46.15Radio-Update file for?
What do ya mean whats if for... Exactly what it states. To update the modems on your device. It contains both the NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn from the update. Personally I think most of the update is in the fsg.mbn, but better to be safe then not have the whole update..

Tryed myself and it looks like the site is down... May be due to updates. Really don't know. Last time I was on there the xt926 didn't have a 183.46.15 xml zip, but I could be wrong.

Unfortunately it was the183.46.15
I do have two more rzr HD's that need that update I was thinking is there still a way of pulling and saving the update I did that with my bionic's many of times I can't remember the app I was using tho. Don't know if that would work now
