Ok, i wish i knew this before.. I dont have TB. I downloaded the blur.zip file, you guys are saying i could extract swype and put it in my system/app folder? Anyone know what the permissions should look like??

Was setting my alarm for work and noticed that some of the ringtones are duplicated but have different names. Not a big deal to me but just wondering if anyone else is seeing this.

I want so badly to try this,thing is 2.3.6 leak fixed so many issues I had on 2.3.5. I will wait until its available for the leak...I do not have reliable data connection on any of the earlier versions.....great work on this rom! Thank you for taking the time to build this,and then give it away here.

no i was talking about the blur apps, i'm not sure if swype is in there...pm me your gmail and i can email you my swype backup...

Just take a look at the permissions on one of the other apps and then make sure you do the same on the app you are copying to system. All the permissions on these apps are the same.

Well, thanks guys....if i remember correctly,, i wipe cache and dalvik,, then flash the blur zip,, right??

I didn't wipe everything and now i'm having issues with sms (but not calls or data). Gonna wipe and start loading everything now and see what happens....

Eckdawg5, thank you so much dude. I was able to paste the link. I got the.apk. I put it in my system/app and installed it. Changed permission, they are...rwxr xr x, rebooted and BAM! SWYPING BABY! thanks again, I wish I knew half the stuff yiu guys do, . This site is insanely awesome!

Minor cosmetic bug: When you are in messenging app and click on a contact, the dial icon appears as the news icon.

Edit: If you guys want to fix this before the next release, just replace the PhoneBlur.apk and PhoneBlur.odex files from the 748 apk dump file over to your system/app folder.
Don't forget to change permissions. I did the same for the BlurDialer.apk and BlurDialer.odex files too.

I only asked cause the OP says that wiping data was not required, but I just wanted to make sure I do things right. Thanks for the clarification.

If you are on the leak and don't need BT why wait. your connetion issue has to do with the radios and if you have the leak installed they will stay put. The ROM only affects and touches /system and has nothing to do wit hthe kernel, bootloader, or radios so you connection problem still will be fine.
