I got the RAZR today. It's on .748 system version and build number 6.5.1-73. Do I just flash the bootstrap CWM here and then flash this ROM like other phones ? Or is there another step ?

Thats it root install bootstrap and flash rom its that simple just make sure you read the op to ensure you follow all instructions for flashing to the letter so you wipe the proper things.

Loving this rom so far! My only issue so far is no music player. Tried to open my music off SD card and got a cannot open this file type message. I like Motorola's player because of the option to change the sound effects. When I put it in 5.1 surround and set it to Home Theater, it sounds awesome coming through my bluray system or my truck system. Can you pick and choose from motoblur what you want to install and would the player even be in there? Or can anyone recommended a player app with these capabilities?

i keep getting a "cannot open file error" even winzip didnt like it....i down loaded 2 different times. any ideas????

You don't open it. Just place the zip file on root of SD card. Reboot into safestrap or bootstrap then update from SD card or install from SD card if you did not rename it.

yep put on card, safestrap, install zip from sd card, choose zip, select infex, and i almost instantly get a "cannot open file" error out of my phone.

Did you have safe mode enabled is safestrap?

yep....i have run other roms through safestrap and have razrx v1.1 at the moment and yes I wiped per instructions but im afraid my finger went through the paper

I did a search on this topic and didn't see anyone else ask... what about the calendar? Doesn't seem to be there. Did the cache/dalvik/system format before flashing.

Very nice rom, any chance for a 1% battery increment? It doesn't seem to show more than 20% for me...

Can't happen... It is a Odexed ROM. They don't take well to mods.

Then try DT's Abysm ROM it is Dodexed and there is a link to the 1% battery update you need to flash after you install the ROM first.
