So far so good and I really like this build. I've even moved it to my primary slot and largest Safestrap slot for regular use. The extra speeds is wonderful (cranking at 1300) and ADWLauncher (EX with my setup) is working real well and very familiar. Actually, ADWLauncher has some nice new additions that help especially if you like folder and otherwise I've become used to.

Problem I've noticed:

  • ADWLauncher and ADWLauncher EX fighting for primary interface. I've set EX as the primary interface 3 or 4 times, but ever once and while system pops up requesting ADWLauncher or ADWLauncher EX options (Always or Just Once). May just be my unit and glitching, but thought it was odd asking over and over again. Weird, just rebooted and same chose your default launcher and select Always and Just Once. Yikes...just had unscheduled reboot. Hopefully it goes away since the last two days have been wonderful.
  • Brightness Bar in the notifications Pull-down Menu isn't transparent causing problems if you are using a background image for the Notifications Menu. I'd take a picture if I knew how to do this now and thought their was a notification button for this?
  • Bluetooth has seem to have gotten worse. Bluetooth AD2P Stereo Playback used to work, but now I don't get anything. Previously, only problem I had from my Jabra Headset was with voice input and phone call communication.
  • May still be having problems with Evolved 2.0 1300...since Google Music and YouTube are both locking up.
Obviously, I need to do more testing and curious how others are doing with their installs? Sorli...

Personally, here's my run down
I am still using Nova launcher. Too many launchers don't let me customize icons so apex and nova are my go to's.

About brightness, I have mine set so you can simply slide across the notification bar to adjust, works so well!

Don't use blue tooth or Google Music but YouTube works just fine...

Hope you are able to get some of your issues resolved :)

Well, the adw/adw ex battling for control seems to be due in part to the addition of regular adw to the system partition as opposed top just the data one where it usually installs too. This for all the adw ex peoples, just delete the regular adw out of the system/app area.

As for YouTube, Google play music, and some others, I have zero issues.

I don't use the brightness bar, nor do I use a custom notification background, but just briefly testing a more custom setup, it works perfectly for me. May be a bad install... Try wiping cache, dalvik, and fix permissions...

I have had issues with Play Music not playing/freezing, Play Store FCs, and few hot reboots that is about it.
Keep up the good work. <3 Evolved

Gnow is telling me it has an update but when the play store installs it, it says it fails because it wasn't signed properly. Am I correct in assuming this is because of the gapps package?

have you reboot wiped dalvik and cache?? I don't get that message. You can try to uninstall updates from the market and reinstall.

Don't know and thankfully the brightness bar doesn't bother too much since I hardly look at it.

Quick question about the build and Bionic display. Did you enhance the screen output to make things look better? I don't remember ICS looking this good and Bionic screen technology is pretty poor interface wise, so that hasn't changed and something much have been updated with your build or JB? Just curious and thanks! Sorli...

I'm gonna take that as compliment. Lol. The only thing I've done was add the bravia engine, but I don't think that makes changes to the entire system, but hey, glad you like it.

And for those having play music issues, I'm now also having them, working on a fix

Google play music fix!!!!

I've tested and it is working... This is only temporary.

1. Using a root browser, go to/system/app and remove awesomebeats.apk

2. Reboot

Seems as though current configuration doesn't like two different equalizers present.

I did try top leave beats as default, but no dice.

FYI, if when in Google play music you try to go to the equalizer, the player will crash and a reboot will be necessary.

Sorry folks, working on a permanent fix

I've noticed that whenever I reboot my phone the internal sd card does not automatically mount itself. Has anyone else encountered this or know of a fix?

Nope... Didn't work.. It wouldn't be such a great if deal but I use custom ring tones so they dissappear each time I reboot...

Hmmm. Yeah, not sure what's causing that. I'd recommend redownloading, wipe fully, reflash.

Is it just me? Trying to set a live wallpaper as my lock screen wallpaper. It says changed but it is still the regular one. A normal wallpaper works fine, just not live ones....
