done! Test build sent!

Did you release a new build or was that just a test build sample for someone else?

As of today, biggest problems with JB (probably specifically) relates to:
  • Notifications - seem to get a bunch extra notifications.
  • Bluetooth - missing this bunches...audio still works for music and playback, but no voice input and fails completely requiring disconnect and call back when receiving calls.
  • WIFI - signal seems less then usual...may just be how it is reporting visually.
  • SmartActions - miss these and wonder if this is Motorola or a Google feature.
Thanks for the great work and big thumbs up for JB Evolved! Sorli...

I'd like it to take my tests, do my homework and laundry

could it get me a beer and possibly fry up some bacon? I love this ROM, I keep going back to it just because I like how smooth it is as well as how visually stunning! Now if only a break through would happen so I could use BT on the phone, this would be a keeper!

I'm loving this ROM, but I'm unfortunately getting really poor battery life. Any suggestions on preferred CPU settings? I'm using:
governor: pegasusq
Max CPU freq: 1000 mhz
i/o scheduler: deadline

regular usage has me running my battery down to dead in ~8-10 hours, whereas similar usage on Eclipse v1.2 gets me closer to 24 hours.

any suggestions? THANKS

well bear in mind that blur based Roma typically get better battery life, but that battery life is kind of bizarre. Honestly, I get about 18 hrs of light use.

I use pegasusq and cfq. Also, try out cpusleeper, works wonders.

I ran this over the weekend and the battery life was absolutely phenominal!!!!!!! I was down to 30% after 25 hours! That's on an extended battery, using WIFI and fairly light usage but that is still, by far, the best battery life I've seen on the Bionic. My only gripe is the BT which can't be fixed ATM but I keep ICARUS HD or Eclipse ICS on another slot and boot to that when I want/need to use the BT headset for phone calls, I also love the looks of this ROM.

Interesting and I do the same thing basically. What does ATM have to do with Fixing BT? Thanks and I love JB more and more every day and the look does rock, so smooth, and so fast! Sorli...

OK guys. Working on a new build that will be (hopefully) released Friday.

Couple of changes

More init tweaks
More build.prop tweaks
More theming
Some options set by default

Tossing the idea back and forth about including a different launcher. Rootuser94 uses touchwiz heavily, and I love it, but I wanna give you some different options.

I'm toying with the Xperia timescape launcher, but any other requests/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Timescape launcher looks promising and I also like what Rootuser94 is doing with Touchwiz. Only video I found on Timescape Launcher looked pretty slow performance wise and if it works well it may rock and be a great addition to Evolved! Sorli...

well, I'm testing it now and so far, its pretty quick. I'd say about as quick if not exactly the same speed as touchwiz, just a different feel. We'll see. Still playing... haha
