...looks like not all plugs are created equal. The vid showed the guy using a Samsung plug which he said was "simple" to reach the circuit board... I only had an LG plug which I could spare... I trashed it breaking through the THREE layers of "boxes"-> i.e. first the rubber outer casing, then a metal casing, THEN another hard plastic casing covering the board... the "tip" slipped off while I was trying to crack-open the hard inner case and I didn't know which way to replace it over the electrodes :/ . Not to mention, I doubt the soldiering iron I have is small enough for such precision soldiering... so it looks like I'll be borrowing $13.82{incl. shipping} the next time I can talk to my parents... or wait till my disability check posts the first week of August[<--nah, I don't want to wait that long to get my phone back up ] My parents have paypal and will probably cover it for me till I get my check... So I guess this is adieu until I get that TBH adapter... I'll update ASAP... and thanks for everyone's help and input.

Words CANNOT express my gratitude to you guys!!!!! ...and right now I'm financially strapped I wish I had at least $10-$20 to donate right now- ...but maybe I can when I get my disability check next month. I thought I was going to have to wait several months until I could save up $80+ to replace my device. -But thanks to you guys; you all helped me to find a $10 fix
While I was down I researched what caused my "brick." Apparently, if bloatware is uninstalled then a Custom ROM will not flash. IDK- that's just one theory I came across... I did make a backup and then uninstall several bloatware... but nothing I read before trying to flash said that I needed to re-install the bloatware :/
I got just one last question... All I'm concerned about is great Cam/Vid function and being able to run my Bible apps and read Kindle content. I read that JB4.3 enhanced the Cam with a few other productivity tweaks. Is the difference between 4.3.1 and 4.1.2 really noticeable? -And is the Cam functional with the CM10.2.1-spyder? I read the the Cam function in one of the custom roms is absent...
