Welcome. You will need to read and learn while you are here so you can help yourself.

Look for SamuriHL's House of Moto, and read, read, read.

House of Moto isn't going to root it.

If it's stuck there you need to fix your adb problems. No it didn't root. It's still looking for your phone in adb. Fix that and run it again.

I certainly don't have time for that.  If you're not familiar with adb you have a lot of reading to do.  I hate to say it, but, the Android community tends to cater to the Windows users a lot more than Linux/Mac.  While the scripts are generally available for Linux/Mac users, the assumption is that because they're on Linux/Mac they have a lot more experience with this kind of thing than Windows users.  You'll have to do some searching for "mac adb" and fix the issues with it.  It's not finding your phone.  The most likely cause is that you don't have USB Debugging enabled on your phone.  That would be the quick fix.  However there are dozens of potential causes and I really can't debug them all for you.

I'd assume so but I've never used safestrap so I couldn't tell you on that one.  Hunt around and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.  At least root is done.  :)

Verify root is working with root checker from the play store and make sure you grant safestrap root access.
