How to request for a firmware:
Submit the following files (using adb pull):
/system/default.prop
/system/build.prop
MSU.txt of Motorola Software Update (You only need the version of Flex)
Configuration > About phone > Webtop version
NOTE: I only MIGHT find that firmware or newer version of it.

So if I flash this, will it give my RAZR Maxx HD Webtop abilities? I see that it says WT-3.0.0 is included.

The first post is only for 4.0.4, but the link in the second(and 5th post) has all 3 firmware files for download... 4.0.4, 4.1.1 and 4.1.2
Always good to have all 3 just in case.

Pzyduck includes that in all his posts. 1.3 is the latest version publicly available and works only on sbf files, not fxz files.

I read that the unlock exploit was patched in the new 9.8.1Q-79 soak update, so don't update if you aren't unlocked and still want to.

) friends... It has all firmware links incl latest 4.4.2.. My friend has soft-bricked his RazrMAXX_HD.. Phone bootloops, but can reach bootloader mode.. He was earlier in 4.1.2 with bl hack patched firmware... He doesn't need root..

 

Now my question is, to un-brick that phone, can I just download the 741+MB 4.4.2 and flash it via RSDLite? Or any other precautions has to be taken?

Thanks Admin... Why I am asking is, on my DroidMAXX, I have to remove the lines saying "getvar", before flashing...

 

Another question... Phone needs to be in USB Debugging enabled in Dev options or NOT?? I don't know, whether he has enabled that option, earlier...

Ah, well, you are correct with the getvar lines.  The easier thing to do it to use SamuriHL's RSD Flasher to take care of this.  It will take care of that for you.  As for debugging, no, that has no bearing on fastboot mode, which is where you flash fxz's.
