I got tired of waiting. If I am going to deal with bugs I may as well use a ROM. Switched to Paranoid Android last night.
Where did you find the link to the PA for the xt926?

*Update: are we getting closer?!
My post to Motorola:
Any update on this yet? I am tired of not having service nor being able to stay connected to wifi. I have tried the hard reset a few times with the same issue. As I can see this is a known issue that everyone is experiencing. Hopefully this is fixed soon, if not is Motorola going to send me a different model phone that actually works?
Their Response:
@dschuett-
If you default the device to Wifi 2.4 GHz it shouldn't disconnect. or you can disconnect Bluetooth Low Energy devices for now. See
.It's going through the final stages of testing. Once complete it will start going out to users.

I am convinced that the XT926, along with LiquidSmooth, both just run light years better with Jelly Bean than with KitKat. I never should have upgraded to 4.4Taking this with a grain of salt, but it looks like there is a possibility that a fix is coming in the near future according to this comments at the bottom of the page here:
Fingers crossed.

I have been running KitKat for a long time without issues. The problems didn't start until I upgraded to the KitKat boot loader. Now the only problems are terrible WiFi and cell reception. I am really hoping the new radios will fix this.I am convinced that the XT926, along with LiquidSmooth, both just run light years better with Jelly Bean than with KitKat. I believe that you are both saying the same thing, and I for sure agree. and it wasnt the bootloader so much as something they did with the radio's, at least thats my thought

So apparently Motorola released an update to fix wifi and bluetooth. Has any custom ROM adopted the fix yet? I am really hoping LS does! I miss that ROM so much...
Here is the link stating that the update has been rolled out:
