Yea I originally downloaded v1.7 from XDA and tried to install it, but kept getting an error message. So I was wondering if I had to flash over top instead of wiping everything. Turns out that I just had to redownload from this website. Now comes the next issue. I installed v1.7 then tried to install 1.7.2 over it. And my phone wouldnt turn on. I was able to get it into the Safestrap menu, so I wiped everything, then installed v 1.7 back on. But the phone still wont turn on. Any ideas what Im doing wrong???

Anyone have any ideas if my battery life is freakin horrendous? I calibrated and have let it go for a week to see if it would improve but its like 10% for every 3 or 4 minutes of screen on time. Watching netflix it dropped from 65-13% in 20 minutes. I haven't fxz'd in awhile, would it help to start fresh? Any ideas?

What do you mean it won't turn on? It just gives you a black screen after Safestrap?

Try FXZ'ing, If that doesn't help, it might be time for you to get a new battery. Depending on how long you've had the Bionic, these things were out pretty quickly if you use the phone a lot.

I HAVE had this battery for just over a year (bought it 1/29/2012), and i do use it a lot, so that could be it. How long do they usually keep a good charge with heavy use? I may try an fxz when I get home. Thanks!

Usually you'll start to notice a big drop in capacity at around 1 - 1.5 years with heavy usage.

The only way I can get it to do anything is by holding the volume keys and hitting the power button. If I try to just turn it on, nothing happens.

Hmmm...do you have any data that you absolutely need to save? Looks like House of Bionic or FXZ is going to be you're only choice at this point.

I was able to revert back to an earlier version, so I can get all the data off of the phone without an issue, if I have to. Just couldnt get it to work with 1.7

Hey just wanted to follow up with you and let you know I got it all figured out. Dont know how.....but somehow I crossed from the RAZR link to the BIONIC link and didnt realize it. I am now successfully on the latest version of the rom! Sorry for taking up your time with my responses earlier!

It happens! Glad you got it all worked out! Trust me.. It was worth it! I have been running Icarus since the first public release. It may not have bells and whistles but it is stable and fast enough for me. I do run Blurry and Eclipse on occasion, but for my needs Icarus works perfectly.

I just updated to the 1.7.2 loved this room from the get go.... I gotta say i know you guys worked hard on the theme and it had some great elements, but it's so not for me. Is there a zip that will go back to the stock look? There was a similar file for 1.5.

I don't suppose it would be possible to get back blur messaging? I miss my Facebook pics on my contacts.

Also, I keep getting a did not send error in the AOSP messaging app, but the texts are going through.
