SystemUI.apk...my specialty lol

lol..i changed the statusbar.xml and got the clock white but i cant get the date and carrier lable..must be doing something wrong

ok found it...its in the styles.xml under res/values

I dont have a values folder in res...and this is in the systemui.apk?

then you didnt decompile the resources.arsc in the apk...you need to do a full decompile using autoapktool

. I know I had recompiling issues untill i search for apktool for ics in xda forums then I set it as my default apk tool in virtuous ten studio. Now only time the recompile fails is if i failed at something. Lol

I just discovered this rom yesterday. I've been running blackhole since the first version .232 was out, updated to the "new" blackhole .247 just so I could have the latest update, but noticed battery was running out overnight while the phone was just sitting. Icarus rom is number one on the what rom are you running thread so I figure I'd try it. Great choice. Had 100% battery when I went to bed last night and still had 80% this morning. Am running smartassv2/deadline. Apex launcher/toggle only mod. I thought the battery and signal icons are nice and unique, but not for me. I would prefer either circle or the 2 semi-circle battery, but doesn't matter enough to ask for them.

Sorry to be clogging this thread but ...Ok..so,if I'm doing the right files...I'm having an issue. These are the 2 files that I am changing, and as you can see I am withing the boundaries since they are .9 .Pngs, but only one is showing up,and even then it's not right. I'm very confused!
