OK so delete all files from system media dir then reflash the ROM, wipe caches after reflash and reboot?

I am sorry if I missed it but does anyone have any idea why flashing battery mods fails every time I try to flash one of them? Also does anyone know if there is a circle battery mod with % of remaining battery in it.

are you running 1.0 or 1.5? if its 1.0 then its because of smart actions and possibly gnow, if 1.5 then its prob gnow but not totally confirmed. here is my explanation on how to remove gnow
"you have to wipe data unfortunately...backup your data using like titanium backup or go backup, then boot into recovery, then wipe data, then install the gnow remover, then wipe cache/dalvic, then reboot, then restore data. for some strange reason it (along with any other gnow remover anyone has made) wont reinstall the orig googlequicksearchbox.apk properly. the app showes up in /system/app folder but not anywhere else. if you do that process it should work but i tried everything to get it working...sorry"

I have 1.5, but I also have gnow disabled, so if it's disabled does that mean something else is causing the problem?

ok. I haven't read anywhere on here about someone having this problem but when I boot up for the first time it doesn't prompt me for my google account info and when I put it in it doesn't automatically start re installing my apps like on other roms. Any ideas. Also I don't have a lot of features listed, like beats audio.

Beats was replaced by DSP in new version. My apps didn't auto download either but I restored using tibu.

i thought you had to log in when getting on play store for them to auto download...dont know cause i just use go backup...its so much easier. no re-downloading anything, simply restore and it restores data as well.

try charging to 100% then flash the wipe battery mod and reboot then let the phone die completely (meaning it shuts off) then plug it in and let it charge completely to 100% while the phone is off then unplug it and boot it up then let it die again and charge to 100%...i like to do it 2x like i explained cause it seems to work better but if you only want to do it once then thats fine.

Its not just you, same deal here. Cool that we get it on ics but gnow is not made for it. Im happy to have tge option even if its buggy

Im looking for the best battery life from Icarus HD, can you guys lead me in the right direction for the best governor/scheduler. I've been trying a combo of Pegasusq/sio and smartassV2/deadline. Both seem about the same but with so many combinations i was wondering if anyone had a better combo to try or maybe what some of you use to be best for battery life?
