Can I get rid of the Google search bar? I found a post in here that suggested I can't. And I didn't see anything about changing the home page in here, is that possible? I prefer it to be the middle page, not the far left page.

unfortunately not on either of your questions...the only way is to change the launcher. There are several on the market like Apex, Nova or Go launcher.

Yeah, I wanted to give this launcher a go before I reverted to Apex.

yeah i kinda got used to those 2 issues cause the launcher is fast...but ive tried everything to fix them.

I cant let go of the circles widget.... lol. I just wish I could figure out how to change the dock icons... keep trying to them the apk but I dont know what I am doing and can not find any info on themeing.

You're trying to change them in the APK? Because you can just drag apps in and out of the dock as much as you want

You cant do it without actually editing the image in the apk itself. Apk tool works wonders

You would actually have to change the phone, contacts, etc icons in their apk files cause there is no dock theme in the stock launcher...so if you were to go into the launcher you wont see the icons cause it doesnt theme them. That being said, its more complicated then you originally thought..

I have already dl apk tool. I knew the files would have to be changed in the apk for whatever i wanted to change. IE: phone.apk etc. Extracted apk using apk tool. Edited the .png that i wanted to change in the drawable-hdmi and mdpi or whatever the name was. Rezipped with apk to and signed. For some reason between that and installing the apk im messing something up. Just dont know what.

For simple image editing just unzip the apk, make your edits, then rezip the apk. Chose the option that allows you to keep it as a system apk and then dont sign it

you dont have to unzip them...just open it in 7zip and swap them out. this way you dont lose signature, you dont have to recompile or rezip. just change the file and put it back on your phone

I'm using apex with one more clock widget app. Has 2 of the circle clock widgets in it. For 99¢ you can get the pro and customise the sang thing. Colors backgrounds yadayada. That's my fix, and its working the same on all 11 backed up ROMs I switch back and forth to.

Wow honestly I did Not know you could do that! That's hilarious with the joke on me. Old dawg new trick and all that Shiest. I'm gonna look at the one more clock widget and see if I can make it do that. If I can I'm a gonna turn it round on ya right.

After flashing the GNow remover that you added, the search touch button no longer does anything if you tap it from the homescreen. Is there any way to assign the basic Google search function to that button using this rom?
