Just try quick pic from the play store for your gallery needs. I use it on every rom. I think it's better than any other gallery I've ever used.

I was able to remove Gallery.google.apk but now I am stuck with My Gallery.

How can I install the gallery/camera from 1.0?

I liked how you could have a photo zoomed in and still be able to slide over to the next photo.
Also the photos were shown on the bottom slide bar.

we left the same gallery and cam in that we had in 1.0 so deleting gallerygoogle should have done it but ill make a zip for you to remove all the pieces.

I noticed that by removing gallerygoogle, it also removed the scrolling picture widget that was in 1.0.

Did you wipe data and cache before installing?

I wiped Cache/Dalvic prior to first run...my Nova issue more than likely was due to layering to many widgets and opening/closing them to much.
* Every so often the gallery 3d force closes...not a biggie since I use quick pic.
* I did find the reboot option...was used to it being on the notification bar or listed on the primary power screen...guess I didn't look hard enough until I went to go clear cache and Dalvic again after almost a full day of running 1.5 through a bunch of stuff.
* The new camera is now working so I'm guessing my issue was due to not letting the ROM settle down enough.
* Battery life is sporadic . went to bed last night at 11:30 at 100% and woke up at 6:30 this morning at 87%
I'm not Overclocking yet..running @1.2 using smartassV2 and deadline settings

The one plus while using the smart actions was that I only lost 8% overnight...but it was useless during the day when I use the phone for various tasks ,some days more than others. I'm sure that once I get a chance to fully cycle on this ROM (can't turn off at night this week due to being on-call for work) , it probably will settle down.
*I'm still sketchy on exactly what G-now is supposed to do. Every instance across various ROMs (Icarus 1.0, CM10, CNA) all seem to crash doing the same task. I can use voice search, get a sports card and weather card, and it shows me how long it's going to take to get home...but if I click on a card that comes up as a place nearby, it always crashes. Like I said....I really don't know what it is/isn't supposed to do since I have always used less flashy means to accomplish those same tasks.
*I don't use Gmail for my Gmail, so I can't comment on that app.

Other than that...I am very satisfied with this ROM, just as I was with 1.0 and it will continue to be my daily (still gotta check out Eclipse)

have 1.0 on now and about to install 1.5, (auto updater didnt tell me there was an update, maybe known i didnt read the thread)
1.0 is the best rom i have tried, i love the default keyboard even though i hate swype lol
only possible problem i have found is the phone gets hot occasionally while streaming through the hotspot, a problem that has come and gone with different updates since release day.
may just be this build and have nothing to do with the rom i cant say.

Tried to flash this twice and I only get "unfortunately voicemail has stopped". I have Verizon SSO installed and it works for my Verizon and NFL Mobile. Can't think of anything else to try.

It works perfect for me... I didn't have to install SSO for my Verizon.. It comes in 1.5 Rom.
Did you install Verizon SSO after installing the Rom update?

Yes. I put the widget on one of my main screens and I was able to choose which album I wanted.
Is that gallery.google.apk file in 1.0 compatible with 1.5 since it was in .247?

Actually, I don't see that file... I wonder if Gallery2.apk is different in 247??

Yeah the issue you are having is that 1.0 is based off of .247 and you need the Visual Voice Mail apk that was made for .247.
Since you are going to 1.5, then use this one:
