hmmm this seems to be an issue with all the different types of gnows out...did it work on any other ics roms for you? or did it only work on JB roms? thanks for your input!

Your ROM is the only one I have used which included google now so I am unsure if it works elsewhere. Unfortunately it looks like I am the only one experiencing this issue so it's likely a problem with my phone and not your ROM.

For me, all other functions of google now seem to work correctly, however.

The "note to self thing", voice search,time to get home weather and sports card are working for me..but just about every other function causes a FC. I don't use it much though. It seems to be more stable on this rom than it did for me on CM10 though

So... here's my battery after only a few hours of moderate use with 4G/3G/No data (lost data for an hour-long class in a campus building)...



As you can see, my screen is barely taking any battery at all and Android OS is absolutely killing it.

Used mainly the text messaging app the whole time, with a little bit of dolphin browser.

Do you think my battery has finally crapped itself out? Had my phone and orig battery since the day it came out on Verizon.

@head or anyone having battery issues... you gotta have an app that is running in the background and not showing up under the battery status... I had the same issue then realized I had an anti SMS bomber app that used 20% of my battery while my screen was off... try to think what apps you might have running in realtime ,weather updates, facebook, anti virus. All of these especially when uses together eat battery life.

I downloaded "permission dog" from the app store which shows all of your apps permissions.. which helped me find my battery drainer..

Also it kind looks like your phone isn't actually charging 100% due to mix up of battery stats. Try to download the battery calibration app in the app store...charge to 100% then wipe your stats...turn phone off charge til blue battery says 100%. power on wipe stats again while at 100% and plugged in.. let battery die completely.. then full charge again... this is exactly what I did.. now I'm getting 24 hours of battery on the extended battery with 50% 4g and moderate usage ..screen on time almost 4 hours...

P.s. it could be a faulty battery..I've had mine for about a year and its still doing well... try to put your stock battery back in and see if it gets better life..then that will answer your question... try what I suggested above first..

i just flashed this rom 2 days ago. really liking this a lot so far, great job fellas. very stable and quick, battery life seems decent, very well done. the launcher took me a little bit to get used to not being centered on the home screen paging but that is water under the bridge. i wish it came with a stock keyboard, i hate the swipe keyboard, but that is more of a side note, not a reflection of the rom as a whole.

This will be changed in the next update. Stock keyboard will be included and swype taken out.

And speaking of the update. Last night t3t3 was without power and my computer decided it was a good day to not boot. The update should be out by the end of the week. Thanks for being patient everyone! We haven't forgot about the update. We have some pretty cool features coming

Just an FYI for anyone wanting a different keyboard; the 4.2 keyboard for Jellybean has leaked and is available for easy apk install. I got to say, this is the slickest keyboard I've EVER used! I've loved Swype for a long time but I think that Swype is gonna get the boot for this. Package this keyboard with the ROM update LOL!

Yes, you really do have to try it. Installed easily via apk. I mean it takes keyboarding to a new level and I'm not exaggerating. Busy putting it on all my Android devices LOL.

Its my favorite keyboard too. I flash it on every rom I use if its not already there. Its on the jb roms already of course. Currently running nitros ics eclipse rom , finally. With this jb dark keyboard and razor m messaging its a sweet set up.

Edit: I thought you were referring to the jb dark keyboard here. That's the one I've been using. Until now! I downloaded and installed the 4.2 keyboard and its made me a swyper. Its really cool.

Just saw a tweet by Android Police saying Google asked them to take down the mirrors to their link on the keyboard you all are referencing. Haven't seen that happen in a bit.
