One thing I can't stand about it is google now It works alright for me on jellybean, but on ics i can't stand it. Would it be possible to get a flashable zip to remove google now and put back in the stock ics search?
I attempted to flash the file from the bottom of the second post (it removes google now and installs the stock ics search) but it doesn't work.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

First off this ROM is awesome. I thought I was going to miss some customization features but I don't have any complaints at all. And T3T3, I'm a fan of the signal bar and battery. Battery icon took a little longer to grow on me but I like it. Great job guys.
Now I just had a question for anyone who may be able to help me with OC'ing. Or point me in the right direction as to what I have to do as I'm at 1000Mhz it seems. Thanks again.

Thanks man I'm glad you like em!
just wanted to say I've had my bionic since launch day and coming from a highly modded OG droid it's been pretty hard not to even root my new phone. Been watching for a while and this is the rom that I said enough was enough Ima pop this things cherry and load this thing up. Man I've been missing out big time. Huge props on a clean rom good job guys.
That's so awesome that our rom was the one to push you over the edge :-D welcome to a better world! Thanks!

I've noticed a very slight lag, and was wondering if someone would be willing to guide me through over clocking properly with out losing too much battery life...
anyone?
Try this thread:
You need to install init.d and the governors. Init.d allows the governors to remain installed in the kernel.
Then you will likely need a script that runs each time you boot to set the CPU speed and voltage. I have one for my 4 slot that is right now running at 1.25 GHz with a slight voltage bump, and the script runs at boot in ROM Toolbox. The various ROM devs usually have the CPU tweaks built into the ROM, but you can also use ROM Toolbox, No Frills, Motomizer, Tweakerz, etc. to set the CPU speed at boot. Icarus and CM10 both have the performance settings under the Settings menu.
I can only say what's worked well for me. I don't see much difference between the I/O methods but I'm not running a true benchmark either. I just check the numbers in ROM Toolbox and they're all pretty consistent. That being said, I do notice a difference overall between 1000 and 1250. The Bionic flies! This is the phone we were meant to have.

The no frills that came with the rom doesn't have that option for some reason... am I missing something?

I have a 4 slot cpu settings so i have to tinker with the settings to match my phone, which i have mine set to 1.333 and its very stable on IcarusHD which without even overclocking its fast!!! But each Bionic is different. But man this rom is powerful enough to bring your over the edge if you want your phone to perform like it should!!!
I still need help figuring out how to set the 4 slot cpu speed.

how do I set the clock speed using Icarus' no-frills? what governor and I/O scheduler should I use also?

If you have a 4 slot CPU, you need a script to tell it what the values should be for each slot.
Once you install init.d and the governors, you need to write a script in your favorite scripter. I use ROM Toolbox and run the following script:
echo 0 300 1025 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 1 600 1200 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 2 900 1350 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 3 1250 1405 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
The following thread lists more instructions and some of the default values for ICS:
There's also a link that explains the difference between the governors and how they work to control the CPU speed.
I have the script set to run at boot. In Icarus I then see my 4 speeds (300, 600, 900, 1250) when I pull down the min and max CPU speed lists. I personally use performance and deadline. I'm at my computer most of the time, have an extended battery, and don't care about battery life. If/when I do, I slow down the CPU max.
I'm no expert, I just like to tinker with stuff. Again I can only tell you what works for me and what I'm comfortable doing. My goal is not to push to the max but to keep the phone stable, usable, and fast.

The open says CPU sleeper is included, but it isn't here. Is it baked into the ROM? should I reflash?
Now I'm going to do the 4 core CPU speed scripts suggested above. My bionic rocks.

So your 4slot is stable at 1250 I do pretty much exactly as you do but I can only get 1230 max b4 I get random reboots and freeze ups

So far, yes. I started by running 1200, then 1225, now 1250. I go up every few days. Honestly I know 1300 is a fail and 1225 works great. 1250 I just started today so we'll see what happens. But hey, 1230 is 23% more than stock so that's great!

I deleted the entire audio folder out of system/media and I still have ringtones. Where are they coming from. I've not any on internal or external storage either.
