Roms I have flashed so far are KKitstalk/beanstalk (current) and Omnirom. Am I just overlooking roms or are there not many roms ready for Kitkat? It would be nice to have a list of roms that I can flash on Kitkat! Thanks!

welp, pacrom didn't seem to work for me. Just showed the moto logo and to a black screen. Restoring from old backup rn
Am I doing something wrong to flash? I've been getting this with the two roms that were "compatible" with the new kernel
I literally fdr and then flash. Idk if clearing dalvik has anything to do with it, but these are two roms that you guys said they would work, don't get me wrong I'm thankful that a phone from 2012 got an ota for kitkat.

has omnirom worked by any chance? I might go to that
Also, what was the process you went through, I'm using cwm so
Also, I think OP might mean what roms work after the kitkat ota. I am also wondering that

I know what an op is lol.
What were your steps to flash it, I'm gonna try it. like I said before I'm using cwm
I'm new to flashing, and I hear either fdr and flash or fdr, clear dalvik and other steps then flash

Most ROM threads have directions on how to flash, right in them. However, each person might do it slightly different. For example, I always format data when I flash a new ROM. Read the ROM thread OPs, everything you will need will be right there.

Not to turn you away but it would be recommended to post for ROM specific help in the ROM thread. Like I said, for me I have never been a real fan of CM overall so I dont use it.

/poke, update the CM links, official nightlies now support 4.4 bootloader and Dhacker29 doesn't host any of unofficial builds now @androidhosting.org
