Yep I was downgrading. I am flashing the .15 again. Its at the "system.img" step, so fingers crossed!
So there is no way to downgrade?? I recently got the Maxx HD and it had the update waiting. Without thinking about root access, I installed the update. Now I am stuck with no root access!

So, I fallowed directing. I clicked Universal. RSD Lite did not open up. I am in ap fastboot. When I try the action again. I see a universal file in the same folder I first used. Should I manually open RDS Lite and then select that file?

Yes you can do it that way.
Thanks Droidrzr for the continued support of my family and a special thank you to Kaos and Kelly....

Sure. Sounds like something on your machine is blocking the process used to open RSD Lite automatically. Just flash universal in RSD Lite manually.

I figured it out. Since RDS Lite would not open after selecting Universal. I opened RDS Lite and flashed the Universal file. Setting up phone now. TWRP 2.7 is what I need right or can I use 2.8? Thank you so much for this. I am not a fan of KK but I love the KK candy bars.

I'd probably go with 2.8 but some people have had issues getting it installed and had to use 2.7.

Hello
I am Brazilian and
I'm having some trouble downgrading to the KitKat 4.4.2 Jelly Bean 4.1.2
If anyone can help me I am very grateful, Because since I started with this downgrade only had problems.
Whenever I enter Fastboot menu and try to downgrade the following message appears:
FastBoot Reason: Boot Menu Selected
USB connected
downgraded securit version
Update gpt_main version failed
Preflash Validation Failed for GPT
And I can not end the process via RSD lite
Sorry if posted in the wrong post, but was unable to create an exclusive for this type of subject.
In addition to the difficulties faced now my RAZR HD only comes in Fast boot and the battery to 100% even though sometimes drops to 14% of nothing.
thank you so much!

Now, with anything, be sure to read the entire op and browse thru the thread for RSD flasher before doing anything.
When downgrading, it is vitally important to not flash specific partitions, and this tool takes care of the xml for you.

It's also vitally important to be unlocked. If you're not, you won't be downgrading.

WHY....WHYYYYY do people do stuff like this? Look, you're on build 15 on a locked bootloader and somehow thought you were going to downgrade to build 10. You were mistaken. Reflash 15 and fix the phone.

Missed that detail. That's even worse. I have nothing further to say. Flash the right FXZ for the right device.

Thanks for the responses guys. THis is my first time ever doing this.
Where can I see that it says build 15?
Can you point me out to where i can find the VZW for XT925?
This all happened because i finally got the option to update to kitkat last night. i did so and it worked fine. I was using it until my battery got down to 2% and i had to turn off my cell. Afterwards, it got stuck at the red motorola logo and that's all it did.

You can't flash 926 files to a 925. Go to the sbf site and download the proper fxz for your phone.
