Using the wugfresh nexus root tool kit and keep getting adb device not found. It doesn't happen right off and can do everything else using the tool.

I would try another USB cable, preferably the one that originally came with it. Also try a different USB port and make sure it's not a USB 3.0 port, those seem to cause "issues" with a lot of utilities.
