Just wanted to say thanks again for a great/stable rom and for having a great attitude. Hope other devs take a cue from you.

Hey all. So I'm totally new at this. In fact, this is not only my first attempt at installing a custom ROM, but my first post entirely on this forum. After reading, and researching for weeks, I'm ready to dive in and give this whole thing a try. As I type this, Safestrap is creating the Rom-Slot1 for me. After that completes, I will proceed to install the Evolution 5.1 ROM. After much consideration to a few ROMs out there and after narrowing it all down, this ROM seems to have it going on, so I am really excited to see how it performs. I am so tired of the stock ICS for Droid Razr especially since it's the buggy version they seem not to care to fix. I'll post again when my install is complete, and I'm all rebooted, up and running.

So I've had this ROM up and running for a few hours now and it's been great so far. The only problem i have had so far is that youtube doesn't seem to wanna let me log in. But other than that, this ROM is excellent and fast. It only took around 10 minutes for the entire install and reboot. I'm very happy with it, and love the blues...even within the dialer. Looks great.

Hey halo, I have "an error occurred" when I open YouTube and can't sign in either, not sure what's wrong

Other than that, this is a legit ROM!

I'm having the same problem. Went back to other ROM, and onto my wife's stock RAZR and the sign in to youtube works perfectly. Anytime I try to sign in on the Evo 5.1 ROM...'an error occurred'.

This same problem happens on 2 other roms that I flashed so it's not just this rom. Don't know why but it most likely is a Google issue.

What files did you lose? Did you make a comparison to the old ones?

All the latest ones. Sio on the scheduler and pegasusq and hotplugx on the governors. I might add that I noticed them gone a few hours after flashing the smaller 1% battery mod but i'm not sure if the two are related. Anyway, I re-flashed the ROM without clearing anything and the new ones showed up after a few reboots.

So far, this has still been awesome. This runs much smoother and faster than the stock ROM...quickly moving into 'daily driver' status for me.

I've gone back and forth a couple of times between EVO 5.1 and Stock 'buggy' ICS and I can definitely see a noticeable difference when it comes to speed and functionality.

No, Google now is not a part of this ROM, but I have successfully been able to flash this version of Google Now (Found the link in the Eclipse ROM forum page):

It works fine...been using it without any problems...although one of the cards says that there is an update available for Google now...and of course you can't download it from the play store bc after all...it isn't compatible with your device. ;)

Hey halo thanks for the amazing ROM!!! My phone hasn't been this fast since CM10 :P

One question: I tried flashing the large battery mod and after 10 min it still wouldn't turn on so I rebooted and reflashed the ROM. Is the battery mod compatible with the latest version?

Yes, it is. I found out though, you cannot flash the ROM and the battery mod at the same time. If you do, when you reboot, the top of the screen is all black. It doesn't show the clock, signal strength, etc etc.. I rebooted after i did the set up and then flashed the mod for it to work.

just saw that Verizon/Moto is pushing out Jelly Bean for the RAZR. They might have done it by accident. However, im looking forward to the devs being able to get their hands on it and make some even better ROMS.
