It only gets better :D after a week of solid use I've settled on this as a daily driver. Only complaint is when it gets down to 14% battery it suddenly and immediately drops to 4% for no apparent reason. But at 14 it needs to be charged anyway.

Have you reset your battery stats since flashing the rom? Haven't had an issue with the drop yet.

That happens to me on most roms.

Anyway, I wanted to say, great rom! I have been on Simplex forever, tried Eclipse again for a week, then flashed this. I'll be on this for awhile. The crackflasher in me is gone now when I find a solid rom. Guess that's maturity? :):)

probably sent from a classroom

Is there anyway to make the status bar pull down, or the notification bar pull down, or whatever you want to call it less transparent? making it hard to see things.

Great ROM! Excellent battery life!

Blacked out Gmail means I can't seem to read a lot of emails with dark text. I've tried to uninstall in TiBu and download from the store, but it won't install.

Sorry if this has been covered, but any options?

Could you be more specific as to your issue, have you already uninstalled? Are you getting errors?

Not at this point in time. It's hard coded in the system. I haven't had any issues with the opacity level yet.

When I uninstall Gmail in TiBu and try to install it from the store, I get an error about the update being incompatible. I'll try rebooting and wiping cache and Dalvik, though. Stay tuned ...

If Gmail is uninstalled and no longer on your system then there will not be an update, it will be a new install so it sounds like it didn't get uninstalled. Try using Rom Toolbox to remove the app.

I uninstalled with TiBu, tried to install from the store, and got the same error. Rebooted into recovery and wiped cache and Dalvik. Went back into Play Store and now everything's working fine! Thanks!

I always reboot after uninstalling a modified app. Glad it worked out ok for you.

Apex settings are crashing from the settings menu. It's a clean install. Any idea how to fix it?

Haven't had any issues with using Apex settings from the settings menu. Just tested it out here and everything is working as it should. Not sure what the problem is.

In the next update could you make it so we can use the native hotspot app on the phone?

Just wanted to say thanks for this ROM. I have been using it for a couple of days, and its fast, clean and pretty solid on the battery.

how can I enable group MMS so that it is like the stock functionality? it doesn't seem to recognize group mms threads, and on the stock rom there is an option on messaging settings to enable group mms

additionally, how can I reset my battery stats to ensure i'm getting the best battery life? are most of you users finding that the battery life on evolution is better than stock?
