ya i removed all but stock . and then put a couple back to see if restore still works and it does. im not sure what i did to mess it up.

Go back into SS and open up the Backup options to see where it is putting them. Also when updating your recovery it is a good practice to backup then format internal Storage. There are hidden folders in there that might be causing this issue for ya.

Minor update in the OP: Safestrap v3.73

- Bugfix for mounting both SD cards in recovery along with some TWRP changes

Ah been off my bionic for over a year now and deciding to sell it.  I want to get it back to stock, hopefully someone is still on here and can help.  It has SS v3.11 TWRPv2.2.2.1 on it.  I don't have any other roms being used in any slots.  Using the stock rom slot.  When the phone boots, it says saftestrap disabled in red.  It also has superuser v1.0.1.7 and superuser v3.1.3 installed.  It is running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (98.72.22.XT875.Verizon.en.US).  I'm guessing the superuser is what gives me root.

 

Anyway, after doing some searching it seems 4.1.2 is the last update that was put out.  So I just want to remove root, safestrap etc and basically make it stock.  I believe I used HoB back in the day to FXZ to different versions, but those reference pages seem to be gone now and not sure if I even need to do that.

As long as there's a FXZ available, you should be use House of Moto or RSD flasher, depending on what OS your computer is.

Any chance that someone reups the XT910 Safestrap 3.71 or 3.72 apk? The original links to goo.im and the crackflasher mirror are both dead. I need a Safestrap to update from Safestrap 3.11 on an XT910 running JB 4.4.2 at the moment...
