Since root and unlock were found for KitKat on the HD/M, have you unlocked?

I'll have to say when I first delved into how to do this, I was pretty intimidated. But my frustrations with KK spurred me to act. As a newbie, I only felt comfortable to proceed after a lot of reading. In the end, it wasn't too complex.

 

Next step for me is to return to JB. My phone functioned much better on that OS.

 

Yea, that's what I wound up doing, too. Check out the Validus JB ROM.

It's pretty awesome and bug free.

I'm having 0 problems with newest kk BL ROMs. Everything works. Good ROMs that I've used are omni ROM, ose, kitstalk, cyanogenmod and aosb is decent. Kitstalk has the most features imo

I regretted I didn't unlock when the exploit was first discovered and unlocked as soon as it was discovered Moto screwed up... athough I prefer to believe someone at Moto just wanted to give the finger to VZW ;-)

Thanks never tried ROM loading yes just wanted to go back to 4.1.2 with the HD. Time to learn how

I have my hdmaxx unlocked. I bought this phone used to replace my OG Droid. It would make a great backup. Shortly after getting my hdmaxx, I read on her about kitkat. I tried it and did not like it. When I found you can roll back and then unlock the boot loader. I jumped on the coat tails and enjoyed the ride. I am looking at Fifty Unicorns ROM. I have had the JB stock with my customs to it. I am one that does not know the true power if my phone being unlocked. It thanks to the ones who found out how it.

Droid RAZR white back up. Outter box white/Gray.
Droid HD Maxx black current. Outter Box Defender white.


To powerful to fall into my hands. Click......Rooted. ICS rommed!!!!! Muhahahahah!!!!

You can't unlock the bootloader after taking the upgrade to the .15 version. It can't be done.
