Certified tested an working new 5.9.905 fxz file for the .901/902/904/905/ICS leaks .2233-.232 update so if you have bricked ur phone/want to remove root on your .901/902/904/905 or ICS .2233-.232 updated phone or just having problems in general. You can now flash this fxz file to put your phone back to 5.9.905/.902/.893 or .886 and unbrick your phone. My FXZs have fixed over an estimated 4000+ Bionics so far. For those that have installed and are running the .901/904/905/ICS.2233-.232 system version or are running either .886/.893/.902 system versions due to flashing my FXZs or updates. all four FXZs can be flashed interchangeably over each other or the .893/.901/902/904/905/ICS .2233-.232 updates. so you don't have to worry about incompatible FXZs or updates So without further ado here are the steps (YOU MUST FOLLOW THE STEPS OR YOU WILL BRICK THE CRAP OUT OF YOUR PHONE I have had personal experience)

!!backups no longer needed all FXZs leave internal storage untouched!! so back up your data prior to FXZing Credit goes to theme developer Mbk for this fix in the FXZs XML file You will lose root once you flash either .886/.893/.902 or .905 FXZ file an must use the exploit to get it back. Make sure you are in charge only an USB debugging is selected when rooting and for ICS usb debugging an MTP mode for rooting also note ICS requires a new set of drivers so make sure they are up to date.

ICS Leaks .235 an above are NOT FXZ able you will soft brick your phone!!!! currently all new hybrid fxzs are on hold indefinitely for now

Step 1 download RSD lite 5.7 here (

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

) (you may have to run rds lite in xp compatibility mode for some windows operating systems)

Step 2 download the latest moto drivers here (

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

) if you dont have them.

Step 3 Download the FXZ File from here(under maintenance)

Step 4 open RSD Lite and boot phone into ap fastboot (to get into ap fastboot mode power down the device an hold both volume buttons down an the press the power button all at the same time an a menu will pop up. then scroll down to ap fast boot mode with the volume down button an then use the volume up button to select ( Makes sure you have at least 80% battery life and a reliable usb port if flash fails at 1/20, .893 1/22 or .886 1/15 find a different usb port or a different computer)

Step 5 click the browse button on RSD Lite an find the 5.9.905 FXZ zip file that you downloaded an click uncompress and flash. the entire process will take at least 20-25 minutes (you must leave your phone plugged in untill the status on rds lite says finished. so when you start this just walk away an leave it alone or risk bricking your phone) p.s it will say in the last stages to manually reboot your phone just ignore it an it will go away in 60 sec. if the status on RSD lite doesn't say pass an your phone has been booted for 10 or more mins. without rebooting it is safe to unplug the phone because some times there is a lag with the RSD lite acknowledging that the phone is booted an running. Also if you get a cdt error for some unexplained reason (AKA ap fastboot failure invalid cdt) you can fix it by downloading this file (

glad i can help, although the more it seems like 247 will be ota, the more difficult to not say "f it" and flash. think i'll stay on <= 232 as long as possible though so i can pull jb leaks when they start dropping :)

Both Matt and Sarge will have Bionics that will stay on 905 (assuming Sarge gets his stuff working again....cough cough :D). So they should be able to cheesecake for us which is great.

I get an error message - "Please check input file. EIther XML format is wrong or image files associated with it are missing." Can't get any further. Any ideas?

OK, I think it's because I'm at 866. I can't find the newvrz_xt875_5.9.902.xt875.verizon.en.us_cfc_01.xml.zip on 4-shared?

i got that error before also. i think it has to do with allowing access to rsdlite, because i fixed it by launching rsdlite by itself (not through the HoB script). just navigate to the "rsd" directory in your HoB installation and launch SDL.exe and allow access on the popup. hope this helps.
