I have a Rogers Razr on 4.04 and haven't been able to root it either manually or with the automatic script by EternityProject. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I'm not sure if it matters any, but it is a refurbished phone.

Try a different USB port, different cable, make sure USB debugging is enabled. Allow from unknown sources is checked, and you have all the drivers installed on your computer. Reboot each a few times and make sure your computer is plugged in.

The only thing I didn't try from that list was changing USB ports, but that didn't do it either. I suspect it has something to do with the fact it is refurbished as the previous two Razrs i had rooted fine and I've seen people making similar complaints on other forums.
