Hello, I have had my droid razr m for a while now, having bought it off of ebay for cheap (great little phone), the only problem it has is that it comes with the 98.30.1 update which, from what I remember from fiddling with the phone a couple months ago, locks the bootloader partition.
At some point, I acquired root somehow (there's a way to do with the locked bootloader, from my understanding they aren't related, correct?). I am also using safestrap (version 3.11, twrp 2.2.2.1 according to SS menu) with a ROM that was posted on the xdaforum, it is a deodexed from here
The reason I'm only now facing my issue with "fastboot reason: flash failure" is that I am going traveling without my laptop, so if I run out of power completely I cannot reboot my phone (the way I'm doing it now is plugging into my computer, and hitting "fastboot continue" from cmd). This could become a major problem.
So my question is really, is there a way to force the phone to continue booting from completely dead without a computer, or is there a way to get rid of this annoying flash failure fastboot screen?
Other information:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
Low Battery
Edit:
the other thing I've found is that when the battery is "low", and I plug in my phone to charge the green indicator light comes on for a bit, then the fastboot error message comes up and the phone stops charging.
Thanks!
