The camera flash is still being a bit tricky. It's being quiet at work today so I'll probably run aLogcat and pull some errors to help pinpoint this. So far nothing I've found has been much help sadly

After beating a divot into my desk... I think I have a basic idea of why this is happening. The actual build this all is based on has a set of values for the camera that are called upon when the camera goes to take a picture. These are usually adjusted based on the device and it's hardware. When a camera app is created it can either try to use the values in the system (which is easier because it doesn't need to make guess work) or use it's own values programmed into the apk. This may require a custom built version of the Gallery apk that calls upon it's own internal values. This might be a tad tricky as the values are in microseconds and will have to be found by breaking down a build with a working camera apk and extracting them.

I'll have to try to extract all the values from the 4.1.2 OTA I have on my computer at home.. and find out how to force the Gallery apk to look at the custom values. FUN!!!!

Pegasusq gov and sio scheduler. and obviously the lower you set your processor the better battery, but then you may get a phone slowdown. all in what you want

I don't know anyone would want to slow down their phone...defeats the purpose of a fast smart phone. And, you're never gonna get the perfect battery life as noone is ever satisfied. Might as well get an older phone then.

It also helps if you freeze some of the auto starts for some of the apps. There's no need for some of those to happen. You can do it at your own risk in Rom Toolbox. For example: locking/unlocking your screen shouldn't start some non-system apps (if you ask me) Also try to uninstall any app you won't use ever again, or use very infrequently. Some apps I just simply need once in a great while and I reinstall them when needed.

Well the good news is that I made the camera run very well on a test build I just did and not crash 1 time even with abusing it.. the bad news is that the flash still hates working. Might be baby steps.. but they're still steps forward.

I'm absolutely loving this ROM. Runs great and very smooth. If you get the camera flash working I would have no reason to use another ROM. Very nice work.

I was checking out the Acid Audio and wondered if anyone got the walkman adon to install?
I've tried twice and I just black screen after the install.
According to the makers of the mod it should work, however no dice here.
Any thoughts?
Here should be the original link for the assumed MOD this rom has?

Yeah because it's originally for samsung phones i believe so you need to use a universal zip i included.

I did use the universal zip for acid audio (to get it working), its when I flash the universal add on that it black screens on boot.
Not sure if something inherent in the setting for the ROM (to make it look like a samsung maybe) would be stopping it?
But supposedly you can use the razr and maxx and that add on should work.

Just was fishing, seemed like a neat app to have to enhance playback.
Since I really see no setting from Acid Audio to tweak like I used to have with Beats.
Am i missing something?
