The size depends on how many ROM slots you would like to have. If you are just doing one slot I would suggest 2GB (unless you have a ton of apps then go with 3). You may have enough space for one more. There is capability for up to 4. I can't get 4..I have one slot with 2, two other with 1gb each. You should just create the ROM slot, no need to wipe your stock side, as it will be gone. When you use safestrap it partitions the internal storage for you. Stock retains 8GB and is seperate from your other slots. If you wipe stock it will be gone and you will have to reload it at some point if you want to use it again. Create the slot and activate it then install the ROM you wish on that slot. When you boot in to recovery you will have the option under boot options to choose which slot you are working with. As you will see stock will always be on the right.

Do not try to load a custom ROM in the stock slot..you will brick and have to start all over again.

Thanks again for the replies. I think my issue was that I had wiped my stock ROM slot when I tried SS3 for the first time and that in turn screwed up my stock ROM.

I run wifi all the time and have no difficulty sending MMS whatsoever. However, I do use Handsent as my messaging app which may be why. Sometimes the stock messaging app can be a little wonky, as I have found out for myself. With that said, I still think this Rom is awesome :-)

When you use wifi does the mobile data icon (4g or 3g) go away? Mine does. I can only send mms while off wifi. from my understanding you need mobile data to send mms

If you flashed a rom on slot 2 then found out you didn't like that rom and went back to slot 1 where the rom you like as a daily driver is do you need to re-wipe slot 2 if you reuse it with a different rom? (Talking about SS3).

Yes. This is the beauty of SS3. I keep HD as my daily driver and then dork around with JB ROMs in the other slots.

Anyone else have the problem where the lockscreen controls will disappear and the only way to get them back is to restart your phone? I've had to restart my phone 4 times today already

Does Facebook sync not work in this ROM? I have installed FB and made sure it was an added account and the contacts will still not sync or show up. I have changed the setting to show all contacts and nothing. I was so used to seeing pictures of people when they called me.

Just because the 4g symbol disappears, doesn't mean you don't have it. It's there and works just fine when you need network data to send SMS or MMS messages :-)

Other than that little error, this is by far the best rom I have played with besides pure cna. I can't wait for the beats bug to be flushed out and then I can use it full time.

goo to post #531 of this thread, it will tell you how to fix beats so it doesn't get max volume every time a new track comes on. It worked for me.

Use wifi tether from the market. The built in one won't work for me either.

Camera zoom works but the video camera still fcs. Strangely dirty flash fixes this but if you get an fc ever, can't get the camera to work anymore unless you dirty flash.
