For anyone else having issues with awesomebeats:

I was able to fix it using this method. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I would suggest you backup your rom just in case.

Download awesomebeats v3. from this link

Clear the app data from AwesomeBeats and MusicFX in Settings>Apps
Uninstall both apps.
May cause a crash. and bootloop. I used the volume down + power trick
Boot into Safestrap recovery, and flash the awesomebeats zip. I wiped after, not sure if necessary.
Reboot.

Go to Settings > Sound > Music effects > and select awesomebeats.

tested with google Play Music app.

And Voila. AwesomeBeats works again.

Just flashed from SS3 and I was wondering, does the weather widget not load on first boot? And also, is the launcher supposed to force close a lot?Edit: hmm just had a bad flash

One more question, what's with Google now telling me that I need to turn location services on for it to work when it's already on? And where's the gallery app and other apps like Walkman?

Update the app in the market might be the issue. Gallery app should be in there. Which gapps did you flash?

WTF I have tried to reflash this $#17 like 578294 times and I get a different result reach time. Sometimes it will go straight to the homescreen with no setup screen and having loading errors. Even different start up screens. These three times though, it decides to friggin finally work, but out of nowhere my wallpaper is my stock nandroid wallpaper and it starts restoring my stock apps like WTF. I am literally on the verge of giving up. I have spent two hours on this and have failed every time until once, but even then the gapps wouldn't flash properly..... please help I'm so tired

please help, I tried for two hours last night and even today and it still didn't work. Here's what I do: create new ROM slot, wipe everything to make sure, flash ROM, flash g apps not inverted, reboot. Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe its called something different for razr, but for the bionic, an fxz is when you return your phone to just stock ics without root. Maybe called sbf for razr. I'm sure the knowledgeable razr peeps on this thread can guide you there ;)))

What isn't working when you flash? The Rom bootloops, goes to the screen and no home launcher? What exactly. Are you using the JB Gapps? I would try the inverted Gapps as well, just for a baseline on what may not work right.

yeah, they call it a 'fastboot'.

If you go to the development forum - check for a thing called 'matt's utility' in the stickies. can bring your device back to stock ICS, then you can re-root, flash one of the of the ICS builds that you need to be on before you flash one of the JB roms. Might take a little time - but, could be worth it if youre really stumped. Can rule out problems along the way. also, there should be directions that can easily be found for every step of the process i mentioned if you don't know exactly what to do.

okay, so I used the gapps in the OP and every time I flash this and reboot, I either get the homescreen with no setup, or more often I get an incorrect setup series with my stock wallpaper and then all of the sudden my stock apps will start downloading again for no reason. It's frustrating.

Can someone post a screenshot of the original set up screen please? Cuz the very first time I flashed it, I got a totally different set up screen from the other times, so I thought that was the correct setup. Maybe not. Maybe I've been wrong the whole time. I just don't understand why that when I flash the ROM, even after fastbooting to stock, this one wallpaper that I downloaded keeps sticking, even when I flash a new ROM.
