I am having problems sticking in boot. I have tried using safestrap 3.0.5 and 2.11. After i install rom and gapps, and restart it goes in to a boot loop and keeps flashing moto logo and the safestap enabled. When flashing ROM it only takes a sec or so for it to flash, seems to quick.

been running this for several days ... just checking a few things .. you did load safestrap on stock side correct and i verified that it works on both 211 and v304 and v305 without issue on any ... but if your bootlooping , u do need matts tool and just start fresh

Also been running this for a few days. Gotta say, it's been great, very smooth, haven't really had any issues. Told RU94 I'd test battery out, and so far, here's my findings from today:

I just flashed 3.0 with SS2.11 with no issue.

I'm having issues when attempting to unlock the phone it will only work if I press the menu key. The slider doesn't unlock the phone.

I was messing around with the slide lock screen apps and now I set it back to default 3 with the Google, camera, and unlock. But when u select unlock the lock screen just flashes and doesn't unlock. But Google or camera will unlock it. Any ideas on fix other than reflashing?

Did you change the slider settings in the phone? When I went in and changed it to 5 shortcuts and went in to edit them, I had the same issue. If you look at the shortcut for the unlock icon, it shows a bunch of code, my guess is because it doesn't correctly identify with the unlock action (which is not available as an option when selecting an action from what I could see).
You may want to try resetting the lock screen back to default.
I was only able to fix by flashing.

One other bug I notice is when u go to change the CPU governor and schedule. And click run on boot. Then when you reboot the phone the change you made does not stick, it goes back to default

A little off topic here, but I need some serious help I think I soft bricked my phone. I'm in fastboot mode using DroidRazrUtility 1.42 and when i try to do a restore im getting "PreFlash Validation Failure"

Update to Matt's new utility. I think it's 1.82? May help.

cant log into recovery with SS 3.05 . im on a fresh OTA ICS from Matts utility. gonna try to flash this with 2.11

was using the wrong Safestrap (droid 3 version).

Restored phone using matt's utility, and installed correct version.

Flashed rom and worked like a charm. Thanks for the great rom

having some issues with awesome beats audio. the audio effects seem to stop after I get a text, or a track changes. It fixes itself when i manually skip a track though. I've used 5 different audio players and this issue seems to persist. Gonna try to restore to ICS and reflash and to see if this keeps occurring.

Got ROM flashed. Had a bad download...my question is...is it better to use the built in ROM control CPU settings or use ROM toolbox and what are the best settings?

I dont think it matters. I recommend pegasusq governor and sio scheduler
