Has anyone tried to change the boot animation under the general UI settings? I havent been able to get it to work.

quick question can it be flashed from stock 211 build? its my first time flashing anything using safestrap because apparently everything bricks DROID RAZR

You can change the bootanimation by using root explorer, or es file explorer which are in the play store. You then need to navigate to the system/media file and move the bootanimation file of your choice into the media file. You must name the new bootanimation file as, bootanimation.zip or else it will not work. Then just reboot your phone. Unfortunately, not all bootanimation files will work, but usually, most of them do. Good luck to ya :-)

You can flash over .211, 214, and .215. Just make sure your on the safe side of safestrap. Make sure to follow the Devs instructions to the T in the OP and you should be fine :-)

Of course there is... I don't think most of us would be using this if it didn't have 4G LTE, probably one of the most important feature on the RAZR.

lol koo thanks I'm just asking so many questions because its my first custom rom on this device so I'm a little nervous because from what I read everything bricks this device...and also my computer is getting repairs at moment so if I brick I'm screwed lol

I am sorry to say.. i hate this rom.. just like every other rom ive tried... it doesnt make me a sammich..

all jokes aside.. great rom.. MMS issue doesnt bug me at all as i use Go sms
but my issue is i found out how much i rely on flash.. Trying to get those nice night shots now and then or scanning parts in and out at night as my room doesnt get a lot of light.. unless im at my work bench.

so once cam flash is up i might have to use this a bit

Well, just make sure you follow the directions carefully and that you have installed Safestrap correctly. Also make sure you're on the Safe Side so if you screw up you can boot back into your stock ROM (or wherever you originally installed Safestrap).

But yeah, it's totally worth it. Really smooth ROM with consistent SGSIII theming throughout.

you wont be screwed. you can always send your device to one of the staff and we can fastboot for you at least get you up and running
