I've had a long day of stupidity today and I can honestly say my patience are running thin. Especially for people who don't ____ing read.
Installing the House Of Bionic:
o) Install the Moto Device Manager (driver):
o) Install the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_(8.x).exe
o) Install the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_FXZ_(x.x.xxx).exe
o) Install the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_RSD_(x.xx).exe
o) Install the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_(xxx).exe for the updates you want support for
You don't even have all the files you need, and it TELLS YOU how to install it in the OP. People who fail to read get on my bad side real quick. Cause if you can't be bothered to read how to install it, God forbid what's going to happen when you get to the USAGE part of the OP you didn't read...
I apologize for that. I realize what I was confused about. I was able to get it going and when it asked if I wanted to root and I said no. The command prompt closed and my phone is still in AP Fastboot. Should I unplug my phone and restart it or should I do something else?

Well your tutorial got me on 246 with ease.. trying to regain root now, and my device won't show up after getting 246 installed and running properly. Everything is working fantastically, just no adb, won't find the device. I've tried rebooting. I have the latest everything installed. I've even tried toggling USB Debugging, have tried MTP/Mass Storage/PTP toggling, it's just not showing up in HoB for me. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I can't imagine what. It's not a huge deal, I have my Nexus but I wanted to see what all the ICS hubub was about today
Unplug it from usb and plug it back in.

Blew right through that screen and didn't bother doing what it said...

Unplug it from usb and plug it back in.
Well that had obviously occurred to me, even thought maybe a different USB port, no such luck. I am using the Moto cable too, short little bastard.

It's not a huge deal, I'll just put her back in the box until I can get this figured out. I knew something silly would happen when I finally broke down and did it. Not a huge deal, I'll just go back to using my Nexus. I wonder if anyone else has had the issue.
Edit: I wiped cache, the only thing I haven't done was factory reset, and I'm not looking to do that unless I absolutely have to, there are SMS/MMS that are on there that I'd like to retain and since I use Titanium Backup to save that stuff.. yeah..

The last resort to MAKING it work is factory resetting it. I'm trying to avoid that for you.
That's the main reason I went your way, the forced OTA method was the best option keeping all my data and such on the phone. I appreciate it, like I said though, don't stress lol.. you've got enough on your plate and I imagine today has been utter hell for you. PM me if you think of a solution, I'll keep an eye on the thread too.

Alright, sorry. See if you can get adb to recognize it from the command line.

Does anyone know if the OTA came with a root checker?
I'm presuming yes, since my factory recovery says 'qe 1/1' under the menu with the options for the utility.
lol, I just remembered that means is currently rooted, although any of my apps that require root beg to differ.
