Well Sam you convinced me, going back to 246, but damn I deleted 246 from my root file. Is it better to transfer the file back manually or using the automatic script in your opinion?
Script verifies it. Up to you.

i am having the same issue with RSD failing, but upon doing it in the "old school manual method" i get sucessfull writes but when i try to boot into recovery i get invalid flash mode
That wasn't for anyone but him. If those flashed successfully and you're getting an error 7 your update zip is corrupt.

Alright I have a problem. I used HoB to go back to .905 and I could not get the OTA update. Then i tried to use HoB to update to .246 and now I am getting either a flash failure in ap fastboot or a boot failure. Can anybody help me with this? I really do not need a 300$ brick right about now. I was at .232 before fxzing back to .905
More info.

Thanks, but I already found it. I'm going to do the manual method, but I'm going to be away for a couple hours. Thank God for Tbh adapters.
No $#!7. I really hate that the OTA is out right now for what is painfully obvious reasons...

I went to the device manager on my PC and blew out ALL of the USB devices (not the drivers) and let the PC reinstall at its own pace. After a few minutes, everything was reloaded and i plugged in my Bionic (always with the original cable) and it started to charge. About a minute later, my Bionic came to life and the notification bar said it had a USB MTP connection. I did a lot of reading through other forums and found this solution over on XDA.
I updated my HOB installer and am ready to get some 246 love. My old girl is starting to lag really bad and I thing that this kind of a refresh will certainly help to straighten things out?
I really appreciate the spectacular work you do to help out the Bionic owners and just know that your hard work does not go unrecognized. If you can point me to a donate button, I'll buy you a beer or two when I get paid at the beginning of the month.

That's all I have. RSD will install the correct stuff for .246 and when I try to get into recovery it brings me back to ap fastboot with a boot failure. Should I try to do the manual install like soocold?

Hey, Samuri!!! I found the solution for my Bionic USB not working. This was right after your last camping trip. BTW, thanks for responding even while you were out in the woods.

When people are having issues I GENERALLY recommend doing a factory reset but you can try the update and see what happens. Very glad you got your USB stuff worked out though! Very kuel! As for donations....none are necessary. Thanks!

That's not all the info you have. What does it say in AP Fastboot *EXACTLY*. What does the swdl.txt file look like?

Add a NORSD file to your HoB directory (See FAQ)
Put the phone in AP Fastboot mode
Select 246 from the HoB menu
Select the Repair AP Fastboot ERROR and follow instructions
Put it back in AP Fastboot mode
Select the 246 REINSTALL option
Select N at the transfer question, N at the MD5 question, and N at the reboot question
Start with Y at the flash option and follow directions

For some reason, my nandroid backup of 905 is gone. Since I made plenty of root mods to my 232 ICS, I will at least have to FXZ back to 905 and go from there so I can be back on path but no worries, I had already prepared myself with backups of all of my apps and also wrote everything down so that when I do my reset, it should be no big deal to get up and running again. I just have to wait for a while now while it gets back to full charge.
If you ever do decide to put up a donate button, let us all know. I'm happy to support the hard work. It's the least I can do. VZW sure doesn't deserve it. Thanks again for all you do here.

You don't have to FXZ. Just use the install 246 option and do a factory reset in place of a cache wipe. Similar to an FXZ of 246 if you do that.
