J/K I do not endorse violence.
If it's about Moto or VZW, I endorse violence in excess.
BTW, just went from 232 to 246. As always, flawless HoB performance. Thanks very much for all the time and hard work.

Besides, the FXZ for .246 should be around before Christmas, so I can wait...

The new SS uses the internal memory which isn't touched when using HoB I believe. Older SS would use the preinstall partition which used to get flashed during the process. Your room slots should be safe after HoB. Just reinstall SS afterwards and and run it. If you want to wait I can confirm tomorrow when I downgrade back to 246. Going to bed now lol.

Same here about the Nexus. Anyways my question is why should we go to.246 I'm currently on .247 on the safe side. What's the benefit in getting .246? Most likely my bionic will be getting crushed as soon as i figure out the nexus phones worst case i keep this thing if nothing good comes out because the devs are giving it life that it never had. Thanks for info in advance and thanks for HoBI'm waiting for the Nexus phones to see what my options will be.

One note to those who are considering this....yes...HOB makes it easy. But you still need to read the FAQ through a few times AND make sure you follow directions. It's worth the extra bit of time.

I see the OP was updated regarding the Verizon OTA release of 246 but does the posted link to download the 246 version come from the 246 leak or the actual verizon OTA 246? In other words, do we know that the 246 will match the verizon OTA version exactly?
So I just went from 232 to 246 using HoB. I was assuming that the 246 update ZIP came from the actual OTA but I guess I understand now that it came from the original 246 leak. So, now I'm wondering if I just flashed a version that may not be the actual OTA version because Verizon reported the wrong version of OTA when they last pushed one out. And if 246 is the correct version as Verizon reported what are the chances that the OTA version of 246 will match the leaked 246 exactly?

When I go through the prompts and it says "WARNING: This step is optional ONLY if you manually copy the update to your sdcard-ext" is the assumption that I've already put the 246 update on the root of my sdcard? Or is this asking me something else? I'm probably just reading it the wrong way but is the yes or no prompt asking me if I would like it to perform the transfer or if I've already made the transfer?
Big thanks to Sam for putting this all together and to whoever posts an answer for me.
